Bro here my 50 cent: Sea Ceptor is launched vertically and gives 360 degree cover whereas RAM can't.

Sea Ceptor also uses soft launch which has own pros.

RAM's launcher can revolve around and adjust the azimuth angle, thus fires the missile towards the target.

While sea ceptor spends time to accelarate vertically and then maneuver towards the target and adjust the altitude.
One is better for very short distance and very low altitudes while latter is better at a greater distance.
Like CAMM would perform better than ESSM below 5 kms while ESSM would be better distances above 10 kms

The distances are entirely fictitious

We saw all the systems here other than SAPAN SAM which is told to be similar to RIM-116.

SAPAN could be easily integrated to various platforms.

vessels.

Updating info from Russian source.:
Stinger K variant appears to be used by the DataLink vehicle, not the missile's own target finder.
firstly vehicle radar or targeting pod engaging on target and loading data into missile, not using the missiles seeker. So it makes more precise.

However The vehicle can't changed the course of the missile once it is launched like Sidewinders.


I think our navalized SUNGUR also has data link capability.

I don't understand why it would fly at that speed, sungur does not have a rolling airframe like stinger or Rim-116 has.. I would expect sungur to fly much faster..

SUNGUR will be best comparing other MANPAD based air defence systems such as Avenger or Simbad RC.

The SUNGUR system will be totally integrated radars and other sensor with autonomous tracking.

İ think my dreams comes true , Sungur might work with MAR-D so the system without human factor might engage any flying target

This is great news. First video of live warhead test of Atmaca! That missile looks very fast! I guess this time they have used a more elevated approach to the target.

This is great news. First video of live warhead test of Atmaca! That missile looks very fast! I guess this time they have used a more elevated approach to the target.

You can see the speed of the object the FLIR is tracking- top right of the footage, averaged the object speed is at 0.9mach - which is the speed published officially.
