UAE made a deal to purchase a huge number of JDAMS during trump's era... Biden stopped the deal .. turkey could supply them with guidance kits
They license produce/assemble a South African origin kit whos IP is owned by them now. They bought 3 billion worth for the Mirages at IDEX.

SOM could be useful but I'm not sure Turkey is even exporting such a system.

Although there is of course the possibility they are interested in air launched munitions the probability is low.

U have to know some thing about ip rights .. if you bought IP rights of a product from a firm .. u could get blocked if this firm uses subsystems from other suppliers ..and most if not all companies do this ..for example .. if the teber guidance kit is owned by roketsan ... It uses tubitak subs ..so even if roketsan sold teber ip rights .. tubitak could block the supplies ..this occurs frequently and there is a lot of examples ..for examples usa blocked french cruise missile" scalp " sell to egypt because it uses americans datalink .. and blocked t129 deal with pakistan ..etc so i dont think uae will be avle to buy all the subs technologies and they will definitely import them

No, of course they dont produce everything or even most things which is why I said assembled. The IP was stolen from Denel, which is another topic alltogether.

Many of their missile parts come from India which is reliable for many reasons including the Indian diaspora, and oil exports.

Developing indigenous subsystems is a project they are undertaking but it's an an early stage, let's take to the link below if you are still interested in discussing this my friend.

Is the weapon tests done with som for Akıncı?

When would we see Tanok on trials?
Well! @Combat-Master , Iam not pulling your leg! 🤣
According to this news, Roketsan is planning to realise first deliveries of Tanok within two years. It has gone through all necessary tests with success.

TANOK is more or less a tank barrel launched ATGM with a 6km range. A limited range laser guided ATGM

What gain will it exactly bring?

A step up for extented range products. As you know, the defense industry is like a puzzle. If you have a product that you produce, you will always work for block II. If we are talking about 6 km today, maybe 5 years from now we'll talk about 10 km.

Would be interesting if TANOK reached altitudes of 4-5km (against helicopters / drones)
