Never heard just the instrumental before!....

man linkin park was one of the bands we would listen to all the time in high school and college...it brings back so many memories for me.

Especially in college 1st year, room-mate would always be playing some linkin park...he was literally their biggest fan, it must be.

RIP Chester...

I hate that Kurt Cobain had the same fate.

I hate that Kurt Cobain had the same fate.

He was somewhat more before my formative time....I was too young basically.

But yeah Nirvana had some rocking tunes...and it would have been great if they just kept going...but Kurt got into that mental hellhole.

The de facto 20th century theme of philly @KAL-EL

Makes me want to chug some raw eggs and jog up a whole bunch of steps and cheer at the top lol.

Would definitely agree it Was the de facto theme for Philly in the 20th century

still incredibly popular.. Every day, dozens upon dozens of tourists run up the steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art and raise their hands high like Rocky did.

I try to do it at least once or twice a year.

On a personal note, I still wish they kept the rocky statue where it was instead of moving it somewhere to the side.

Honestly the first movie of rocky was the best, it had that rawness and he was a full underdog etc. Same goes for Rambo.

Sly was a great natural actor for both roles...both original movies have aged very well too.

Then they kind of milked the movies bit too much in the sequels imo....though some of the more recent ones have been quite good.

My favourite scene from the "newer" ones:

I see what you did and i will raise you with this ;

Such an epic movie with one of the greatest soundtracks of all time. Sends a shiver down the spine.

My name is Maximus Decimus Meridius, commander of the Armies of the North...

General of the Felix Legions and loyal servant to the TRUE emperor, Marcus Aurelius...

Father to a murdered son, husband to a murdered wife. And I will have my vengeance, in this life or the next...

The scene where he is dying in the arena and he dreams of rejoining his wife had me in tears.
