"The most prominent feature in this project is the 76mm Cannon's hybrid control capability in terms of both servo and hydraulics, transforming the system from an analogue structure to a fully digital one. In this way, the digital-based new generation GENESIS and ADVENT CMS integration, control and monitoring are possible. MKEK General Manager Yasin AKDERE says, "We have implemented a product that is very different from the examples in the world.""

Can't wait for those smart and guided munitions.
127mm naval gun will be ready until 2023. Smart 76/62mm munition is under development. 300 MKE workers have developed and produced 76/62mm naval gun in 12 months.
Could we say the acceleration of 127mm is definitely for the multi-purpose frigate that we see as a gap between frigates and the TF-2000?

The 127 mm naval gun is probably being developed as the main weapon system of the Tf2000. If the requirements haven't changed, The need for an intermediate multi-purpose class frigate will be revealed after the tf2000 project goes into production. The production contract of the Tf2000s, which is aimed to be delivered in 2027, is expected to be signed around 2022-23. Meanwhile, CAFRAD, 127mm Gun, MDAS Siper and Gezgin missiles will be ready. @Anmdt

Can someone enlighten me, why 127mm naval guns ?
I imagine that they’ve worked on the concept for a long time and domestic version of otomelera isn’t surprising considering we pretty much built it on license (almost).

Sea trials to begin in 3-4 weeks for MKE 76mm Naval Gun
R&D of national 76mm munition is completed, in addition, smart and airburst munitions will be developed in a short time.

In my opinion it will be introduced in 2023, ground tests in 2024 and sea trials / calibration in 2025.

Bro i don't want to speculate things but TF-2000 rather has a long schedule to be met by 2026-7. With the current progress it is very hard to expect the ship before 2028. From his words i have caught that they needed to accelerate this schedule to meet something.
