We should never gave commission to let the Varyag travel to China. We could stop it but our leaders were weak and blind.

Thanks to the Varyag, China developed their navy and produced their first carrier.

Why? Don't you know the technologies we have obtained thanks to Varyag?

LOL as if current government would do anything about it.

It seems like FAC-55 is chosen as the design for the Turk-type FAC project according to the video released by the official SSB Twitter account.

Placeholder.
They also used the monstrosity that they turned Anadolu into in the video.

We already know thanks to @Anmdt that TTHB will look vastly different. They probably will unveil the design at the ceremony for the first steel cut.

Don't miss the "FEWS", national EW suite development programme. The below image is "National EW systems" preview by Aselsan and not linked to the actual FEWS project.
Although this is not the first, but quite different from the earlier developed EW suites.
I will not give any information for now, though i will provide some later.

Or maybe just fuse with this news, with what was revealed earlier;

Keypoint #3 by DPO Manager Eng. Col. Timur Diler, the TF-2000 has a distributed sensor and command systems on two main masts, new ED/ET (likely AESA based) technologies will be introduced to be deployed on the integrated mast (the reason why the layout has changed). TF-2000 will be able to carry 2 medium-lift helicopter (up to 15 tons) and 2 G-IHA (Ship-Deployed UAV) simultaneously. (From here we can further deduct; 1 medium lift helicopter occupies space as much as 2 G-IHA.)

People should understand there is never a "picked" design if DzKK is procuring. They always modify it extensively (see DIMDEG, see LST, see LHD) several times, if you are lucky only for once.

SSB IsmailDemir: The Turkish type Fast Attack Craft project will start this year.
He says the project is going to start. We want to hear “keel cutting will start”!
Same with I-Class; all three will be produced together we were told. What we want to hear is “at such and such a date we start cutting keel! “.
A lot of will, shall, going to. But no real action.
I would love it if their action made me eat these words!

Great news!
TCG Hızır Reis Submarine, the second boat of the Reis Class is going to be meeting with water this year.
They are coming in one by one.

I think you will find that unless they use an electromagnetic assisted arresting system, whereby you could adjust the arresting wire tension to different weights of planes, there is no chance of stopping a Hurjet weight class plane with hydraulic powered wires that is optimised to stop TB3. Vice Versa, if you tried to stop a TB3 with a wire system optimised for Hurjet, the TB3 would break apart.
Same problem would be there for MIUS as well.
TB3 is going to be a 1200kg weight class plane with very low landing speed. Hence the force applied to arresting wires will be a fraction of Hurjet‘s or even MIUS‘s, both of which will have empty weights of more than 6 tons and 4 tons respectively.
I would be happy to see TB3 landing and taking off from this ship.
A variable tension electromagnetic breaking system is not that hard to make. It can be made the way regenerative braking of electric cars work. Stacks of pie type breaking alternators can be employed with as many as needed numbers of them being engaged and disengaged depending on the type of the plane to be handled.

Last 2 P-72 planes prepared under Meltem 3 project are being delivered to the TN. With the addition of these 2 planes , total number of Sea Patrol planes will be 12.
