Why the F are there always dents on new Turkish produced ships?
I mean,look at it,unreal.
It's called an oil-canning effect and is inevitable whenever you build a ship, operate them for certain amount of time. It is caused by various stresses esperienced by the sheet metal and you'll see oil canning even on relatively new ships, although the severity of oil canning varies from ship to ship depending on the shipbuilder experience and material quality, as well as operational conditions. I'd say the oil canning on that particular image is actually quite a lot for a ship that isn't even launched, but it could be that the camera angle makes it seem worst than what it actually is.

Fate of the ships, unless they are made of composites these bumps-dents appear. Some has more, some has less.
What matters most is the consistency and orientation of the bumps, and staying within deformation limits.
There is no luxury of building ships with the tolerances applied to submarines. Amount of processed steel and automation or block sizes are not the same.
Comprimising some RCS and strength in negligible amounts the construction time is shortened remarkably.
I mean, even submarines get to experience oil canning at some point, so unless you're building an airplane which has much tighter tolerances, yes you'll have them, as you've put.

Breaking:
Again USV destroyed huge Russian warship.
Turkish Navy should stick 4 tiny AESA Plates onto every warship.
They also should start deploying UMTAS vertically.

İf the ship had had situational awareness with 4 AESA Plates, the ship would have saved.

And you need allies who're willing to keep you supplied with equipment that will enable you to keep building things like this.

I totally agree on this part, Even the smallest boats should be equipped with these (shown below), larger boats should get GNSS-RF Jammer etc.
The performance may increase as power-supply is decent on the ships.

Or with Aselsan's AURA in a similar manner, x4 x6 or x8 depending on size.
Similar to CIWS concept, all RCWS + CIWS + main gun should be organized to form a new kind of close protection suite for such threats in case of swarm attacks.
Corvettes - Frigate -LSTs should have at least two 25 mm RCWS minimum, accompanied by another set of 12.7 mm.

i guess form now on every army is gonna have dedicated Fpv drone units all over the place. just a 4 plates AESA to detect and a soldier with an armed Fpv drone could have saved that boat.
Damn those Russians never learn . Ukraine is gonna take out the entire Russian black sea fleet with cheap ass USV.

FPV drone might've been too slow, however, loitering munitions that are ready and waiting in their launcher would be a great option. I don't mean the smaller ones, ones like Alpagut that have a bigger bite. As soon as you detect the USV you can launch the loitering munition and use man-in-loop capability to hunt it down.

from what i've seen of those USV attacks, those boats are slow as fuck, so maybe against a fast usv fpv is not a good fit but in that specific case, it would have been a cheap and perfect solution. but that just me , Russian mod knows better :)

Naval air defence missiles for MIDLAS
  • Hisar-D Blk-1
  • Hisar-D Blk-2
  • Siper Blk-1D
HisarD Blk2 quad pack will close the gap between Siper Blk-1D and Hisar-D Blk-1.

He also tells integration of other missiles for the export market, here i am taking it for CAMM / Albatros / MICA / Hisar variant for Indonesia / etc.

If you can organize it to this extend, you need no USV. AShMs have a got a mode called time on target and routing options. That would be far more interesting if the USVs have launched torpedoes. A country letting 4 USVs slide that far without being detected by MPAs, SIGINT tools might have lost the war at the mainland anyway.

In IDEF 23, Aselsan has displayed 3 x stabilized PIRI IRST on a single compact mast with 180 degrees coverage, ready to be installed on existing platforms, without further modifications on the main mast.

Soon we may also see a rotating type IRST for boats and smaller platforms, auxillaries.

Could also be deployed for land platforms (AA suites) through PIRI-100, the not-stabilized core unit. Might be mounted on telescopic masts.

I remember reading about TCG Derya would be able to operate USVs, has there been any news about that?
I guess there is no update. But I think the ship has to be operational before we can see this kind of news. Anmdt üstad can give more detailed insider information, but as far as I know, TCG DERYA will be one of the very unique examples of its kind in terms of combat command and control capabilities.

Just in, Romania cancelled their 4 Gowind class corvette purchase which was signed in 2019, which was fraught with issues. Damen also didn't work before this. Freedom Class and the Ingalls' NSC based design are what's left. 7 years later, they have nothing to show for. They did join PESCO's European Patrol Corvette program, but that project is still many years away.

Ada Class would be a nice, easy to build and cheap option.
