This is not a test. Neither an official test where SSB or DzKK is present nor a factory test. This is a stunt for the media.

There are 48 Cells btw behind the main mast. You can make out the third row

View attachment 66113

So 32 Cells in the front and 48 Cells behind the main mast.

Wouldn’t say adding 16 more Cells gonna save cost but what do I know.
No there are 64 cells. There should be a fourth row behind the mast.

Putting 16 cells instead of 16 side launchers might make it more compact
Would add costs though to integrate Atmaca into it. So again doesn’t seem to reduce cost.

Gonna guess the current setup has its reason future planning wise instead of the Navy going, „ let’s cut costs“.

There are three rows of 16 cells in that picture so either the navy made a mistake or it’s 80 Cells.
There should be a fourth row we can't see it from this perspective because of the main mast.

Ok, I'm terrible at paint but this should give some perspective.

🔴🇹🇷In the last shared design of TF-2000, there are differences in the ÇAFRAD sequence.
🔸3 different (UMR, AYR, ÇFR) radar arrays consisting of 4 fixed faces have changed in the new design.
🔸While UMR maintains its place on the ship, the AYR sequence above it is not included on the ship.

Where are Atmaca lunchers? Will they aslo lunch them from VLS ? 🤔🤔

Nope total 96 cells. 32x in the front and 64x in the middle.
I dont think so , if they made it shorter at 149 meter and looking at image , this is 48 vls middle and 32 at front (80 total)
I dont like that they make it shorter. A destroyer at least should be 150 meter . Other japan and s Korea navies are building 15000 ton destroyers .
They must build 155 meter and 48 x 48 VLS 😡

Major East Asian guided missile „destroyers“ from JP, KOR, CN are cruisers in size >10,000+ t displacement.

Since MİLDEN will come somewhat late, we should consider short-range SLBM capability with TAYFUN. Either a larger MİDLAS or a smaller TAYFUN missile.
