its a photo of the preveze class submarine under modernization,some of this modernization will be made by tubitak/armerkom müren-preveze sys and some by STM,but unfortunately preveze class subs torpedo launching tubes are small for akya torpedo but nevertheless it will be changed or optimised with or without germans help is not known yet

Preveze like Gur class will be able to fire Akya torpedoes. The size difference is not major but slightly in length.
The guidance capability was not also avaliable in Preveze, as expected, thus Gur class, which is a submarine able to fire DM2A, similar to the Akya for guidance, has been chosen.
AKYA will be common HWT of the Turkish Navy.

The P-72 Naval Patrol Aircraft can stay in the air for up to 9 hours and can serve up to the Western Mediterranean. 8 people, 2 pilots and 1 tactical coordination officer,
can work on the plane. Mk-46 and Mk-54 can carry torpedoes. Deliveries are expected to be completed by the end of 2021.

Tubitak Mam has done it again. It looks like Turkish subs will be able to stay under water a good deal longer than previously planned.
They claim to have doubled the duration under water for Reis. Gur, Preveze and Ay class submarines.
Somehow they have increased the capability of the subs to hold CO2 by 50%. This way they have halved the amount of CO2 storage.
To be able stay submerged longer than your adversaries is a great advantage.

Don't make me laugh, that project was a scam and sham.
Had no scientific or engineering basis as expressed by them, or nothing practical yet, or even approved by Turkish Navy.
There are some smart solutions to mimic animals but they haven't got any background neither worked someone who actually get into that field and works on that.
