Says in this tweet that Pakistan has called for a meeting presenting proof of terror financing.

Is this true ?
Yes. this has been confirmed by Pakistani media. Evidence that would hold up in courts in cases of international terrorism are notoriously difficult. The information that intelligence agencies pick up might form enough body to make some conclusions on which actions can be taken but rarely does these meet the legal standard to take to courts. This applies generally.

However if enough 'allies' can be roped in or your goal in in sync with theirs then one can get international action taken by using global bodies. Also global media can also be harnessed. Traditionally Pakistan has ben on the underdog because geo-politics and size of India means Pakistan has to tread uphill. Meaning when we throw mud on India it has to go uphill and rarely sticks but anything they throw comes downhill and almost always sticks. The real sticking magnet has been "Islamic terror". Since 9/11 the West will literally shed tears for you if you also cry "Islamic terror". India has amply used this card.

They even have terms like "love jihad" which apparently is a evil Muslim plan to marry all the Hindu girls. If anybody knows the population of India and Hindus they will know this is joke. At over 1.2 billion Hindu's the small number of Muslims would have a job draining the massive pool of Hindu females. It's like Russia being afraid that Muslim whales will drain out the entire Black Sea leaving Russia marooned. It's ridicalous I have even come across this 'love jihad' in the west peddled by Indians here.

At any rate I think we might have something to chew on this time given FM Qureshi and PMIK's statements. There was also a FM and ISI intell joint media conferance on this today.

I wish Pakistan good luck on this endeavor. I am not sure it will succeed given the US need for partners to contain China. India is much too important for US plans.

And Pakistan has too much going on with China.

SMQ ought to take up why he boldly promised Pakistan will be taken off the FATF greylist soon....but abjectly failed on that front.

This thing will just turn out like the earlier "dossier" thing that other previous FM "presented"....in whichever musical chairs admin that was (i think it was nawaz sharif one... who is now by the by...chirping all kinds of things in london having absconded....I am sure smiling 10% guy zardari admin had its irrefutable dossier too delivered on rote).

We are also supposed to still take Pakistan establishment at their word they knew nothing about OBL being in their country....within vicinity of a large military complex. OK. The effort that was undertaken to squeeze actual irrefutable admission to the world about the Mumbai terrorist attack origins also says a lot.
