How about SOM cruise missile (or similar) that can be vertically launched from VLS on ships and submarines ?

From ships i would agree but from submarines it would be impossible as SOM bulky.

ATMACA missiles with 200km range are not too bad. ATMACAs are to be launched from subs.

From subs I would prefer TRG300 since they are cheaper rapid rockets while SOM/ATMACA have different roles.

Also we have new compact Anti-ship missile"ÇAKIR" that would suit minisubs.

We could even expand the composite area towards the cover of the funnels. This way more weight will be reduced.

Sacrificing RIM-116 launcher , Software, missiles, other systems which cost20-30 million USD? Too late.

I would add SUNGUR/OMTAS ..

Time to revive this dead thread with some spicy stuff.

Have been thinking of a scaled family of USVs during my boredom in finals. Decided to name it after the Mako Shark (Camgöz).

This one is a small hit and runner specifically for missile attacks. I had some insipration from an exercise where a Turkish attack craft approached an American destroyer by 50 yards unnoticed.

As you can see, it is pretty low to make visual detection difficult so that it can get into firing range of UMTAS GM missiles safely (16 or more depending on variant).

Is it really possible? Maybe the radars were turned off?
AFAIK AESA radars could detect even periscope of submarines from 30km.

*Could you add on these beasts 2 heavy torpedos? 💪 Or creating a new design " unmanned Torpedo boat"!

"An old incident comes to mind where an advanced version of the German Zobel Class, serving as the Kartal Class in the Turkish Naval Forces, which is a torpedo attack boat, came as close as 50 yards to an Arleigh Burke Class destroyer equipped with highly advanced sensor and weapon systems during an exercise, and the boat was not noticed by the destroyer until it lit its flares."

Reading this the first time. Looks like ULAQ KAMA will be deadly dangerous.

It is, there is a very good reason I explicity said that it is meant to lay low on the sea. The reason Kartal class managed to pull the sneeki breeki on Arleigh is its super-low structure, simply hiding between waves.

I'm thinking of alternative payloads but I think I need a larger hull (which I've prepared) for heavy torpedoes

Telescopic mast at the aft is definitely not a good idea. Assuming white coated radars indicate civilian navigation radars, better to multiply them on each side and place the mast in mid.
May also omit the front deck and cover it with angled composite up to the supperstructure.

Additional notes;
Supperstructure (or island, however you refer) may be higher. Just preserve the current angle of faces and make it higher. Place telescopic structure in middle, two navigation radar in front and rear side of the mast (installed on an arm supported with bracket) and two satcom antennas on the sides in the same way on an arm supported with bracket.
Place 4 x AESA on diagonal faces.
Omit flat forwad deck unless you intend to install machine gun.
Utilize rear deck however you like. HWTs better be aft launched as horizontal as possible, LWTs better be forward launched as angled downwards as possible.

If i recall correctly, top of the vessel was wooden it had superlow profile with a command post on top for navigation. Also it happened during a bad weather, with wave height greater than the boat itself with a heavy radar clutter due to the waves.

I dont think unmanned vessels may be able to sail or maneuver at such weathers, at the moment. It needs time.

I think that KUZGUN would suit it better than UMTAS-GM. AFAIK some KUZGUN variants will have longer range.

NATF feels unconventional to go with as a variable sweep wing, I am going by the theory that they will make changes on the design like LM did on F35 for F35C. Wider wings, arresting hook, stronger landing gear, etc...
