To give all that to the citizens you need to have citizens, especially loyal and preferably with ethnicity that is less likely to raise up against the state under convinient conditions. Otherwise Turks already in majority has all that like never before in history so that is not ultimate answer.

You guys are acting like we're facing a massive uprising. More marriages between the different ethnicities and peace are good enough for me.

What will Turkey look like in a post-Erdogan world in 2029?.. I personally think we could see another 2 decades dominated by Ibrahim Kalin. His a very capable politician, his intellectually gamed, smart and savvy and the man to guide Turkey post Erdogan without doubt. Just look how much Erdogan has lifted Turkey during his era and Kalin will continue Erodgan's legacy... Turkey hit the jackpot with Erdogan era imagine if the likes of Nawaz and Zardari came thru your ranks and believe me every single country has a Nawaz and Zardari types and first time that country has a proper leader in Imran Khan since the late 80s... But it is about getting capable people in that position... Erdogan was imho the best thing to happen to Turkey.. Hate him or love him you can never question Erdogan's commitment to Turkey he breathes Turkey and lives Turkey because his Turkey

You can easily wipe out racism by having 4 wives that are of different races and ethnic groups.

1. Asian
2. European
3. Middle Eastern
4. African

Look you see I found the solution to racism. Im a Genius.

Will AKP win after Erdo is gone?

Unless erdogan chooses a good successor.

If not akp will lose.

Erdogan has always been a figure of contrasts regardless of what people think of him. He knows how to play the game of Turkish politics not to say his an Ataturk. But Ataturk also knew how to play the game.

Difference between both is Ataturk had a military career while Erdogan served the army during conscription. Erdogan lacks that military factor of having balls while Ataturk not just served he fought for decades and became a decorated officer and led a nation to independance at its darkest time.

I dont expect any Turkish leaders to be like Ataturk. Its just no way anybody can live up to his standards.

There are no successors to Erdogan

I think süslü Sülü had a real chance but Sedat Peker took care of that. :D

My perspective residing in America might not completely be relevant to Turkey but that's not at all true. Immigration is beneficial in small to medium doses, once the floodgates are open with no restriction, there will be conflict at some point. I immigrated legally, having proven myself capable of integrating and assimilating into the wider society and culture and contributing. But there are those who have no desire to do that, to contribute to wider society or even worse, those who snuck in illegally and they absolutely need to be removed before they ruin said society for everyone else.

Mass migration is used as a weapon of war.

You know how the Russians sapped the Ottomans ability to fight its by causing massive refugee migrations by uprooting Muslims living there not to mention you also had Hungarian and Polish refugees coming in.

Ottomans until they collapsed faced massive refugee crisis that continued well into the Turkish independance war.

I mean Ataturk lost his home city of Selanik. These refugee crisis have also caused trauma which Turkey has not recovered from.

Most Turks including me have a grandfather or a grandmother that had to leave their lands due to wars and oppression.

You also have many non Turk Muslims that had to leave and come to Turkey itself.

Todays refugee crisis is sapping Turkey's ability because there is too many people mixed in with high unemployment and a shit economy along with inflation. Refugees from Syria and Afghanistan are also competing for jobs.

What makes it worse is a lot of refugees want to leave but are being kept against their will. Erdogan was foolish to accept the EU money deal.

Man the refugee situation in Turkey is brutal, as the AKP doesnt know how to handle this they are now forcing the population to accept it lol this wont end well, good luck in 2023.

Currently, there is a Syrian population of 600 thousand in Hatay. Births are currently around 55%. If it goes like this, if Syrians are candidates for mayor in certain districts, they will easily win.

This is just SCANDOLOUS. After all the suffering caused by millions of refugees, when the average person is in economic shambles, this guy has the audacity to come out with this article?

This guy is Erdogan's advisor. Look at his article. This nation is a goner. That is if AKP wins again.

Am I the only one who thinks Kilictaroglu looks like Sultan Vahdettin.
Yeah he does hahaha.

He has never been my favourite, and CHP would be much better off without him. HOWEVER, at least he wants the Syrians out. At this point, I'm cheering for him to win in the next elections if he runs for president. AKP is seriously f*cked, they are purposefully changing the demographics, it needs to end.

Tanju Özcan did something remarkable today. It made me cry tears of JOY! I hope this man becomes the president of Turkey. If I had a thousand votes, I would give them all to him. He has the GUTS to lead this country. I have never been so proud of Bolu.

Never before in my lifetime there has been a Turkish politician as inspiring to me as him

He may just be Mayor of Bolu but he's the king in our hearts.

All hail the King!

I would also kick Armenians, Greeks and Persians out too.

Anti Turkic haters and people who hate the Turks dont belong in Turkey whatsoever.

People can cry their bs racism.

Liberals and leftists are playing the hijacking history card.

By saying the Turks came to Anatolia as refugees 🤣🤣🤣

Ahh yes the Seljuk Turks who had an empire before conquering Anatolia are refugees 🤣🤣🤣

Ottomans came to Anatolia to settle to due to the Mongol invasions. Ottomans forefathers fought as Mercs for the various Muslim states that were fighting against the Mongol Empire.

So tell me how does this compare to refugees smoking shisha on a beach??
