I see people who believe that the Azerbaijani media is independent, impartial, and capable of producing its own analysis. Dear friends, when it comes to both domestic and international affairs, no news can be published in the Azerbaijani media without government approval. In other words, all these media outlets are under the control of the Aliyev regime.

If there is an attack against the Turkish government, going as far as targeting Atatürk himself, it is simply impossible for such an attack to take place without Aliyev's knowledge and approval.

Anyone who has been to Azerbaijan, done business there, or worked there knows that Azerbaijan is a genuine dictatorship. The Azerbaijani people are, of course, our brothers and sisters, but the Aliyev regime has effectively seized control of the country's entire wealth and resources, with the media being one of its most important instruments of control.

If Turkey is being attacked in this manner, it means that the Aliyev regime is deliberately undermining its relations with Turkey and has effectively fallen under Israel's influence.

While I respect analyses made in good faith, I disagree with many of them.

For Azerbaijan to disregard all the support Turkey provided in the liberation of Karabakh, claiming that weapons were merely purchased with money and that everything else was accomplished entirely by Azerbaijan itself, is nothing short of blatant ingratitude.

First of all Azerbaijan has multiple times thanked Turkey for its support in the war, and Turkish soldiers marched along ours during victory parades for a reason.
However, some of Turkish politicians want to paint a picture that without Turkey, Azerbaijan would of never won the war and Turkish support was the deciding factor, Azerbaijan lost nearly 3000 soldiers, and Turkish politicians putting Azerbaijan as some sort of proxy militia equal to Libya or Syria is an insult to those that have sacrificed their lives. The major point of Azerbaijan is that this support, such as weapon deliveries, were not some sort of gift, Azerbaijan paid regular market prices for these weapons.

next point is that Turkish media and bots on twitter have been slandering Azerbaijan due to relations with Israel for years, but because Azerbaijani media is answering back now its bad?

Kazakhstan exports more oil to Israel than Azerbaijan, and imposed hijab ban in schools before Azerbaijan, yet nothing was mentioned about it in Turkish media.
Turkey should not be meddling in such internal decisions in Azerbaijan, specially when the decisions are being made to counter attempts of religious influence of Iran. Turkish bots and media were literally working overtime to the benefit of Iran.

and does this look like country that does not appreciate Turkey's help? its the higher ups in Turkey that want to make the strategic relations seem one sided, despite Azerbaijan supporting Turkey, Azerbaijan provided cash infusion during currency crisis, Azerbaijan has been one of biggest investors into Turkish economy, Azerbaijan has been one of the largest markets for Turkish defense exports, and Azerbaijan has been providing Turkey with below market energy prices.

Until just a few years ago, Aliyev was thanking Türkiye for what it had done to help Azerbaijan reclaim Karabakh. So why has he suddenly started saying that nobody helped them, and that they purchased weapons only with their own money?

Even Azerbaijan’s Chief of the General Staff turned out to be a traitor, while the Turkish military was directing the war effort. Yet today, Aliyev is denying all these realities. TB2 drones took part in victory parades and celebrations in the streets of Baku, but now he claims that they were simply purchased with money. This is ingratitude, and I refuse to accept it.

I am not talking about the headscarf ban. The Republic of Türkiye did not officially express any objection to Azerbaijan on this matter. Neither the President nor the Foreign Minister made any official statement about it. If criticism of this ban by ordinary people on social media can damage bilateral relations, then perhaps Turkish-Azerbaijani relations were never built on a truly solid foundation in the first place.

Why do you fail to mention the smear campaign against Türkiye that has been unfolding in the Azerbaijani media over the past week, before criticizing social media users in Türkiye? While there has been no comparable attack on Azerbaijan in the Turkish media, Azerbaijani media outlets have been publishing analyses and broadcasting programs targeting Türkiye almost every other day, with some crossing the line into outright insults. Why do you never mention this? Azerbaijani media have even accused Atatürk of encouraging the Soviets to invade Azerbaijan. You never bring any of this up.

Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan do not hold the same level of importance for Türkiye. Türkiye and Azerbaijan are genuinely brotherly nations. Kazakhstan's language, culture, and traditions are nowhere near as closely aligned with those of Türkiye as Azerbaijan's are. Some people in Türkiye may not even be aware that a ban exists in Kazakhstan.

The headscarf issue is merely a pretext for the deterioration of these relations. Aliyev has chosen Israel's side and is using the headscarf issue as nothing more than an excuse. Even allowing the Israeli president to travel to Azerbaijan through Turkish airspace, without informing Türkiye, despite Türkiye's ban, is an act of betrayal.

Despite everything Türkiye has done for Azerbaijan out of brotherhood, what we have been seeing from Aliyev lately is ingratitude and hostility. Aliyev needs to understand that he must not lose Türkiye's friendship. He is making the wrong choices. Türkiye is not a country to be betrayed for the sake of Israel. When the geopolitical circumstances change and Aliyev finds himself in trouble, it will be Türkiye that comes to his aid, not Israel. He must act with this reality in mind. Otherwise, Aliyev may be forced to pay a heavy price for his decisions.
