The platforms that TEI-TS1400 turboshaft is going to be integrated (with minor modifications)

The platforms that TEI-TS3000 turboshaft is going to be integrated:
  • 10ton utility helicopter
  • Atak-2 attack helicopters
The domestic aircraft programs that TEI will supply gas turbine engines in future:
  • Unmanned fighter aircraft: 8000-10000lbf class turbofan
  • HürJet light fighter aircraft: 17000-20000lbf class turbofan
  • TF-X 5th generation fighter aircraft: 30000lbf class turbofan
The known turbojet propulsions that TEI and KALEAero is going to supply own solution for domestic cruise missile programs:
  • TEI-TJ300 turbojet for MRAShM naval missiles
  • TEI-TJ400 for advanced variant of same missiles (?)
  • KTJ-3200 turbojet for Atmaca and SOM cruise missiles
  • New more powerful KTJ turbojet program (development was commenced) for Gezgin land attack long range cruise missiles
UCAV and Hürjet turbofans ?

A dream coming true if true.They are sparing no effort.

But who is responsible for the TF-X engine development now? TRMotor or TEI?

Another question how much thrust can TS-1400 an TS-3000 deliver when their core is used for Turbofans?

8500-9500lb for the TS1400 and 18000-20000lb for the TS3000.

Probably it is only the combustion chambers of turboshaft engines that can be used for turbofans if any. Most likely they have to be clean sheet jobs.

As far as I understood the strategy TrMotor is the company that was established to keep all intellectual and property rights of the new engines inside a company whose management structure is %100 Turkish. By this way, No other companies will have a saying on the engines that was developed under the roof of TrMotor but In background, It will be the same Turkish engineers from TEI and some other imported engineers from other conpanies that is working on these engines but they will be revealed with TrMotor brend name.

TS1400's price per kg is 6000$. Mustafa VARANK
Looking at the requirements of the Improved Turbine Engine Program to deliver an engine with 35%cost reduction and 65% increase in power-to-weight-ratio I calculated how much a T700-GE-701D cost per kg.

Cost of engine (ITEP is $650000)x1.35= $877500.
Engine weight T700-GE-701D: 456lb-207kg
877500/207=$4239 per kg of engine weight. But the requirements are from FY2000 and with inflation correction (FY2000=100) of 51.2% one gets $6409 per kg of engine in 2020 numbers.

Now I don't know if the $6000 figure for the TS1400 is the production cost for the prototype/preliminary engines or for the production engines.

- Jealousy, Hate, Anger nothing positive from them - "Once you start down the dark path, forever will it dominate your destiny, consume you it will."

- I am sorry to say that but it is look like from the video there were some "outsider /s " which try to create a sabotage or situation.

Nevertheless - The important is that we (Turkiye) have our Turboshaft engine. :)

The aeroderivative marine gas turbine propulsion that TEI actively started to work on. Most likely, They are aiming to develop marine propulsion that will have capability of powering the platforms equal to TF-2000 class in future. The latest deal with Ukraine regarding Lodos Propulsion JV may have some connection with TEI's new ambitious for marine gas turbine propulsion.
