At that point of time, there would be a bipartisan support for engines rather than objection in the Congress, believe it or not. Whoever thinks that Trump likes Erdogan, solely gave these engines to make him happy, I recommend to him think twice. Sure he likes him, leaders' diplomacy is important also: but that kind of strategic shifting can not be explained by love or hate alone, we should all remember for there is no hate or love in international relations, only interests.

We toppled Assad and stabilized Syria, as well as it can be made of course; against all odds, against Russia and Iran. There is a clear dissappointment about Israel and Netanyahu. Also there is growing discomfort in US society about Israeli US relations. For the first time in more than 50 years, US politicians declared that not sponsored by AIPAC, which was a considered an honor a little while ago. And JD Vance, I would say F35 and engines more about him than Trump. Who had been accused of leaking plans to Turkiye by Israelis about Iraqi Kurds during Iran war. We are the only country that stood here a state like a real state, with army, institutions, history and so on. The list can be expanded

Not only us, they want Germany to become strong again. So USA is leaving Europe and middle east and move on to Pacific, for good. TBH, after Syria and PKK, we have no major issue with them, other than Israeli and Greek lobbies.

Sooner or later, by talks or by force, Israel and Greece will understand the reality

A production rate of over 9000 engines per year will be reached by 2032.
Kale plans to produce over 1000 engines(probably close to 1500) in 2025. (stand-off+anti-ship)
Note that Kale alone produced over 2000 KGK kits in 2023. Now we have other companies that produce guidance kits too. We have a huge production capacity.

Has Kale Jet Engines officially cancelled or stopped its IPO process? I found a public offering document with a decision date in December 2025, but I couldn't find any official announcement confirming that the process was cancelled. Is there any new information about this? I have searched for an official announcement regarding the cancellation or suspension of the IPO process, but I have not been able to find anything. If you have any information about what happened or when the decision was made, I would really appreciate it if you could share it.

Currently IPO process looks to be on hold/stopped but not cancelled. Kalejet started IPO process in December 2024. The IPO should have been done by now. Kalejet is not Mahmutoğulları İnşaat that waits years for IPO greenlight. Kalejet wanted to raise capital because of piled-up debt, but their situation improved a lot in 2025. IMHO Kalejet might consider not going public, as the need for extra capital is decreasing or Kalejet might reduce the percentage of IPO.

It seems like the TF-35000 and TS-3000 teams will be transferring to TEI Teknoloji. TEI will be a production subcontractor and won't have a role or will have a very limited role in the design and engineering of those engines. TS-1400 and TF-6000 will continue at TEI.

But what about keeping Hurjet (LCA version) single engine. Make the LCA version a little bigger, use a single TF35000 engine.

I wish SSB would go for a middle class fighter asap, something that complements our Kaan fighter, which is a heavy one

You are correct. Mahmut Akşit said that few times. Twin engined Hurjet will give a total of 12000lbf + dry thrust and 20000lbf+ wet thrust to Hurjet. If they made it a single seater with a stealthy body it could be a very capable fighter jet. Especially if they pushed the engine output towards 7000lbf dry and 12000lbf wet thrust each, it could be a good fighter jet for a carrier too.
But do we have the resources to support such a project? If we are building MUGEM, we should.

Single TF35000 engined LCA is not going to be a Light Combat Aircraft; but would have to be a single engined KAAN. That is a project as large as KAAN it self. This is also a long winded project that would take a long time to mature. However it may be the natural evolving process for the stealth programme for future.

But for short term solution to turn Hurjet into an effective LCA and navalise it to be used on MUGEM, a twin engined Hurjet still seems more correct route, particularly from the point of view of it’s indigenous engines giving us the freedom to do as we please.
Hurjet can’t fly from MUGEM as it is. It will have to be navalised and its aerodynamic structure has to be redesigned to suit carrier operations any way. So why not go one step further by using local engines? Otherwise come 2032-35, we will have a carrier with no effective manned fighter jets. Just KE and Anka-3 as air power. Albeit they need to be navalised too.

There is no decisive picture that would give away the actual innards of the Tempest Engine. All we can see and gather from this picture and from various other more detailed ones, is that there are provisions for very large electrical power generation. The engine looks like it comprises of:
3 stages LP compressor
6 stages HP compressor
1 stage HP turbine
1 stage LP turbine

We know that Japanese used 5th gen single crystal turbine blades on their totally indigenous IHI XF9-1. If RR is going to use similar we do not know.
This engine does not seem to have adaptive cycle tech. Yet 6th generation jets should fly very very high at much faster speeds.
Until first prototype flies we won’t know much. Even then they may use an engine that is not meant for the actual tempest plane. (First EF prototype had flown with RB199 tornado engines)

I think the first engine is soon to start assembly. IIRC many of the components have already been machined. I believe that GCAP opted not to develop an adaptive cycle engine, possibly because Japan was very keen on the aircraft's development adhering to schedule. Perhaps an adaptive cycle engine is planned for MLU?

BAE Systems are building a UK demonstrator which may be close in design to the final GCAP design. It will use EJ200 engines.
