USA got the Petro dollar Sheikhs on the balls. My suggestion is, they threaten Arabs with a regime change or withdrawal of military US support.

All this has done a great job of exposing the oily sheikhs.

Yes, but they don’t care, and does it change anything, look at how weak resistance their population is showing. They probably don’t even know what their rulers are doing.

The real question is, can Pakistan avoid the trap. Indebted and all that.

I don't give a toss what they or their populations do. I just take vicarious pleasure seeing the "gods" fall down like rotten apples. And here I mean the Islamists inside Pakistan who worship these people. Slowly Turkish influence is increasing to the detriment of GCC which has been dominant since 1970s and the oil bonanza which gave these sheikhs the petro-dollars to cultivate influence inside Pakistan.

As much I share you cautious optimism I am afraid that Turkey being led by the current admin might be great in terms of influence I dont know Erdogan is hella confused person at times but Turkish influence over Gulf Arab any day but I doubt Pakistanis will learn all these Turkish soft power makes Pakistanis into neo-Ottoman freaks

If Turkey is the reference, it has recognised Israel a long time ago (1949)... and even had a pretty strong military relationship for quite a long time (it changed under Erdogan).

Erdogan admin has not de-recognised Israel either...in fact relations are again normalising since 2016 diplomatic agreement. Some ongoing activities between the two are presented here:

So Saudis are pressuring Pakistan to do what Turkey has long established history with? Somewhere something is being presented a bit simplistically I feel.

In fact the squirming at certain earlier gathering I most enjoy watching is stuff like seeing the befuddlement or even anger to Azeris (strong Turkish ally) using Israeli drones (among other Israeli tech)....or it is quietly ignored altogether.

It's long overdue, Israel had been in Levan for more than 75 years (not counting the Levante Jews who had been living there together with the Muslim and Arab Christian there for Millenia at least or more), at least three generation of Askhenazi Jews and Shepardi people had inhabited the lands since the founding of Israel. Muslim world should accept the fact and work together to resolve two Nation state solution and acknowledge the founding of Israel alongside with Palestine rights. How can you solve the problem of two Nation when you only listening the narration and narrative of one side only?

And it is quite funny, when you found actually and facts Israel is more lenient and liberal toward their Muslim population even in the occupation zones when compared to the "perceived" strong Ally of Muslim or Arab world likes Russia and China who killing Muslim in tens or hundreds thousand by erasing Cities of Muslim and doing systematic progrom to erase their identity as Muslim (Chechnya and Uighur issues along with Russian support for Armenian to killing tens thousand Azeris and purge almost million people from their homeland in Karabakh). Not to mention China and Russian imperialist attitude is actually quite a danger for the Muslim world.

This should be food for thought for the Muslim world on how to look at matter closely and reap benefit from such situation. Recognize Israel is actually giving us more Mustahak compared to the mudharat.

Yeah it just lot of folks in certain place can't explain ....is recognizing Israel pro-Turkish position or anti-Turkish position?

.... esp. since they also want to be pro-Turkish (but go about that funny way in the end seeing what happened regd Turkish members in that place....but they still saying they are pro-Turkey lol).

Or is recognizing Israel more a pro-arab vs anti-arab thing. Most except a few stalwarts are turning more anti-arab lately in that place (if we are to assume its reflective of Pakistan's "elite"). But who really knows what composition and relevance it actually is.

It is always strange some place has to approach this by what other groups and countries of people factor in for their relationship with Israel. It is either good for your country and people, or it isn't. Dbl or triple dipping into the various muslim world factions (which wax and wane on whatever position themselves over time) for reference and agreement on it is kind of silly and counter-productive to own sovereignty. But then again it need a more deeper psychological understanding of whats going on and entrenched, few outsiders have that.
