INFRARED MISSILE WARNING SYSTEM (KÖFIS) Project was signed on October 15, 2021. Within the scope of the project, it is aimed to bring the relevant technology, know-how and infrastructure to ASELSAN within the scope of the original and national development, verification, integration, validation and transfer to mass production of the IR Missile Warning System to be installed on Air Force aircraft. As per the SSİK decision, the main contractor of the project is TUSAŞ A.Ş. will be. ASELSAN MGEO will take part in the project as the main subcontractor. Other stakeholders will be ASELSAN REHIS, TÜBİTAK BİLGEM İLTAREN, EHSİM, 1st HBFM and 2nd HBFM.

I am a little bit disappointed with the report ... I was looking for infos about cooled MCT sensors programm .. akkor aps . Radars .. RF GaN modules .. EO systems programm etc

OMTAS AKÜ-GB (Medium Ranged Anti-Tank Weapon) System Fire Control Unit Surveillance Unit) serial production phase 1 contract was completed and 245 units were delivered to Roketsan A.Ş. and system delivery is complete.

The firing tests of the KARAOK Infrared Seeker Head have been successfully carried out and the qualification stage has been reached. All deliveries have been completed within the scope of HİSAR-A and HİSAR-O Air Defense Missile Development Projects. In the tests carried out with the Seeker Head guided fire, the targets were successfully destroyed.

Deliveries continued within the scope of serial production of UMTAS and OMTAS Infrared Seekers. The firing tests of ASELSAN's design Miniature Bomb were successfully completed and design studies for variants with new features started. Trial activities of the KARAGÖZ Wide Area Surveillance System with Balloons continued in different border regions. Within the scope of the Multi-Purpose Pylon Development Contract signed with the MSB, multiple launchers capable of carrying two guided ammunition (LGK-82, HGK-82, KGK-82/83, TEBER-82) at one station of the aircraft will be developed and certification tests will be completed. Within the scope of the Miniature Bomb Supply Contract signed with the SSB, the Miniature Bomb and Multiple Transport Area, the certification tests of which were completed in 2020, will be mass produced and delivered to the Turkish Air Force. Within the scope of the same project, a particle-effect Warhead will also be developed.

With the experience gained in the field and the confidence of our systems, very important new projects such as KORAL-II, ILGAR-II, HEWS-II and FEWS have started in 2021 to meet the EW needs of the future.

KARTACA, the new generation Countermeasure system compatible with world standards, has been made ready for use; A serial production protocol was signed at the IDEF Fair. Business development, concept definition, design and production activities continued for many more projects that are carried out confidentially due to the nature of Electronic Warfare activities.

With the ÇAFRAD Radar System, multi-functional, multi-tasking radars serving different purposes have been developed, produced and put into use, thanks to technologies whose verifications have been completed by firing tests from the frigate.

In this context, Weapon Detection Radar, the first GaN-based AESA Radar, has been added to the inventory of the Turkish Armed Forces. All design and production activities of GaN-based AESA Radar technology, a technology that is only available in a few countries in the world, from chip level to modules and units, subsystem and system level are carried out by ASELSAN engineers and solution partners in the country.

At the end of 30 years in which ASELSAN continued its activities in the field of radar, it has reached a level that can compete with the leading radar manufacturers in the world in terms of technology. Thanks to the vision created, the radar needs of both our country and friendly and allied countries will continue to be met with constantly developing products, together with new design and production technologies.

Three new contracts were signed in different provinces within the scope of Smart City Projects. In this context, on the products of Electronic Supervision Systems such as Intelligent Intersection Systems, Average Speed Violation Detection System (OHTS), Parking Violation Detection System (PITS), Red Light Violation Detection System (KITS). Contract and acceptance activities were carried out with Kırıkkale, Samsun, Tekirdağ and Rize Municipalities.

In the field of Financial Technologies, the first contract was signed by seven public banks and Bilesim A.Ş. signed with. The scope of the contract includes the supply of 10,000 ATMs.

  • (NEFIS) UV-MWS: Helicopter Missile Warning System: Likely most critical sensor of HEWS-II (Helicopter Electronic Warfare System)

By the way, there are 4-5 countries in the world that can produce this type of electronic warfare self-protection systems which is battle-proven and working properly. The main reason why Russian aircrafts and helicopters downed like flies is their backwardness in these critical technologies.

Within the scope of the Elmas Project, Delivery of 6 LCD screen prototypes was completed in 2021. With this project, Significant know-how and infrastructure for ruggedized LCD display design and manufacturing is obtained.

640*480 17µm microbolometer type detectors will be used for Karaok missile UMTAS and OMTAS will probably be upgraded too. New 16km range UMTAS block 2 will undoubtedly use this kind of detector. But this is not our best microbolometer type detector product. Aselsan has 1024*768 17µm and 640x480 12µm microbolometer type detectors on development as well.

Helicopter dipping sonar, Orkun-2053 to be equipped on Gökbey @Defence Turkey

Dipping sonar will be tested within this year on an USV, however i doubt if Gökbey is in a stage to conduct tests, especially above water, of an external unit apart from itself.
There could be a little confusion about this; ie. dipping sonar will be tested within this year and will be integrated on Gökbey in future.
