TUSAŞ General Manager Temel KOTİL spoke about the latest situation in the construction phase of KAAN.
🔹Kaan is 100 percent local and national.
🔹KAAN will change the Turkish Century. All its tests are being done now and it will fly soon.
🔹TR Engine promised us that it will provide KAAN's engine and fly in 2028.

First and third ones seem political and play for the uneducated masses
You are lying and very suspicious!

The U.K.'s Export Control Joint Unit on Nov. 6 replaced and updated its open general export license for goods in support of the Turkish Aerospace Industries TF-X program. The new license replaces the revoked license and allows for the export of "software or technology for the Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) TF-X Programme aircraft, also known as KAAN, from the U.K. to" Turkey and, in the case of reexports, the U.K.

Lifting all kinds of limitations on domestic military projects sounds great but, honestly, I’m not sure how to read this particular one.
Clearing the path to a partnership? A ToT?

Rolls-Royce engine and probably to extend BAE System's involvement in phase two.

The engine would be so cool but so far it failed mainly because of the IP disagreement. And the latter, I don’t know bro

I'd be truly shocked if this wasn't mainly about a RR engine.

since Kaan enters a new stage revoking an open general export licence and issuing a new open general export licence reflecting a larger scope and our current needs which is stated and enlisted through the meaning i.e the definition of TF X KAAN programme is quite logical.

One of my concerns is with ''re exported''
