I think engines not installed yet, maybe this news is about running engines on test benches before isntallation.
But of course I hope engines have been installed on tfx

bruh! you sure you want to sell TFX to UAE?

Anyway, Here is a realistic list.
Qatar 24
Azerbaijan 12/18
Kazakhstan 24/36
THESE ARE ALMOST CERTAIN.

Malaysia 24
Bangladesh 24/40
KSA 50/100
Morocco 24/36
THESE ARE POSSIBLE SALE

Pakistan 50
Indonesia 50
UNLIKELY

others.
UNCERTAIN

OF COURSE, ALL OF THIS WILL HAPPEN IN THE NEXT DECADE IF TFX DEVELOPMENT COMPLETE SUCCESSFULLY!
You don't have to be selling them all once in a few years. This is throughout the life-cycle of the Project. The situation depends highly on tensions in the world. I would take this as a starting point. Remember that these planes open up the sales of other defense products from Türkiye. You probably wouldn't be able to guess sales numbers of TB2 either; UAE 20, Poland 12 ... :ROFLMAO:

Saudi Arabia is conducting high level meetings for the past few days now. Wouldn't surpise if interest in SA rose quickly after seeing the TF-X prototype. Seeing how they will most likely never get the F-35 or any of the 5/6 gen projects ongoing in Europe and Russia/China not really being an option I could see them suddenly having a real interest in TF-X.

If we should sell it to them is another question I will leave to the people sitting in the right places to decide.

But I will say this, if the excuse for exporting the TF-X to SA is "they are our muslim brothers" I will lose it.
The same goes for the UAE. These are two countries that have for the last 5 years tried to sabotage Turkey anywhere they can. They even tried joining up with the greeks to achieves this and have sent money to the pkk/ypg in Syria.

The export should only happen with assurances being put in place.

Pakistan I worry about chinese influence. That's it. Nothing else.

Azerbaijan 100% will be one of the first to buy the TF-X once it goes into production.

UAE is truly a trouble maker and Turkiye should work towards breaking it up into smaller emirates.

for KSA, yes they were against Turkiye. They had an embargo etc. but they did never come out as directly hostile towards Turkiye or tried to harm Turkey internationally.

unlike the morons in UAE, KSA realises the importance of having strong Muslim states. They also sought opportunities to improve ties with Turkey and their decision making is rather rational.

Turkyie-KSA would be a strong alliance

Okay, take my list as the first decade of TFXs potential sell.

but after that there will be Tempset and FCAS in the market.
for countries that already brought Rafale and Eurofighter those two would be more lucrative than TFX.

And the comparison between tb2 sell and TFX is not on the point.

Tempest and FCAS will not be ready before 2045 realistically, maybe even later. By that time, 1. evolved TF-X version will be considered 6th generation and evolved Baykar combat UAVs could also be considered 6th gen.

no need to worry. Turkiye will dominate Tempest and FCAS for many reasons including cost and few strings attached.

Update: FCAS will not be ready before 2050.

i believe Tempset would be ready by 2035 for partner countries and for export by 2040.

I dont see Tempset's timeline missing more than TFXs timeline missing!
Remember Tempset would be marketed by japan too in Asia.
However, FCAS will be more late.

Tempest’s first flight has already been delayed by roughly two years to 2027. Tempest is now a multinational partnership and things will get even further delayed due to conflicting interests

Any sale should be like european sales.. if we make a contract we should also include economical ties for civil products... just dont sell a tfx include armored vehicles, turkish civil products just make more bindings!

we need to grasp this markets let them have benefits and let us have benefits..

The amazing thing about the aircraft would be combining all the sensors in its body to get a full detail of the battlefield. TFX will probably have 360 degree infrared and UV coverage, but I am rather curious if the 360-degree radar coverage would be just X-band, or would they add more different bands to the aircraft? Infrared and UV have advantages and disadvantages as well as different radar bands, but the point of sensor fusion is to get rid of the disadvantages where one sensor covers what the other lacks. I am assuming besides the chaff and flare approach they would develop the aircraft further in using DIRCM to blind infrared homing heads or have an EW system that can jam active radar homing heads that use fire control bands higher than X-band, or if they want, have the aircraft function as an air defense for miniature missiles to intercept incoming air to air missiles or raise the power level on DIRCM to physically destroy air to air missiles.
