I'm not really sure on how to feel about Indonesia's interest in joining Kaan project given the KF-21 project history and their reputation. Pakistan is a given, but i wonder how are we going to protect important data of Kaan if we give those jets to Azerbaijan which has very close ties with Israel?

I don't really know what to expect or to feel to be totally honest.
Do you know of any examples where ambassadors from two countries were housed in the same embassy?
In 1992, our flag flew next to the Turkish flag in front of the Turkish embassy in Washington.
Our trust has stood the test of time.

Azerbaijanis are the last country to explain themselves and convince Turkey on any matter on this God’s green earth, let alone safety of any kind of partnership.

Every country who will join Kaan is doomed ahaha....

Better stop looking for partners and problem solved...

Exactly. Some of us think like we are living in the Ottoman Empire, at her peak time. We are neither a superpower nor rich, nor very advanced country in terms of technology, science, democracy or law system.

We dont have the oil, gas or multi trillion dolar companies (even those who have, are trying to sell).

We have to sell Kaan and other assets, even agressively, just like Russia. Our entire industry depends on exports.

No need to reinvent the wheel. Just like others do. Some limitations, export versions and we are good to go

PS: By the way, we should not forget it was a Turkish Citizen, MKEK Kırıkkale director who sold MPT 76 infos to the foreigners. I am sorry to say that but some beam on our eye before suspect the others, that is all I have to say

My question is simple and raises an important concern regarding mixed inventory in terms of country of origin.

Selling a jet to someone is one thing, allowing someone join the said development project is another thing.

I see some unrelated answers such as we are not being ottoman empire anymore or ambassadors one and i don't understand any corelation of those to the main topic.

Anyone who slightly is interested in our defence industry knows that we need funds and partners for big projects like Kaan but having concerns over "which country should be let in" is a very valid point.

Edit: Just to be more specific about Azerbaijan issue, look at what modern air defence they have, then look at who keeps maintaning those air defence systems, and then in order to be used together with Kaan, what issues or concerns that integration raises.
Very similar to F35-S400 issue.
