Apart from that, we must honestly recognize that we are not the USA & China who invest between 300-900 billion USD per year for defense forces and projects and juggle these funds like peanuts.
With what we have 45-50 billion USD a year + 10-20 billion USD from the SSB special fund, Turkey has really developed different weapon systems in a resource-saving way and has various projects going on, both in aviation, navy and ground.
Money is not the issue (F. Aksit).

Money is not the issue (F. Aksit).
Money is always a factor, it's just nothing meaningful babble from F. Aksit, otherwise the titanium bottleneck would have been taken care of long ago.
Instead, there were significant delays from various suppliers from South East Asia & Co, partly due to poor quality of the material, but nothing that could not be solved with money provided you want to pay an very outrageous price.

Let's not take it out of context what F.Aksit has said in the midst of a conversation. He was answering a direct question about overall timeline of the TF6000 manufacturing process.
Point he was making had a lot to do with the fact that these engines have to go through numerous tests as part of their maturing process and no amount of money injection can speed up the process.
As far as he was concerned , the engine development was getting on according to the programme set for it.
He was quite open when the first prototype had an embargoed item that delayed initial firing by 6 months whilst we were indigenizing it.

President Erdoğan (2030): "Our national combat aircraft KAAN will enter mass production. With Steel Dome, we will integrate our air defense systems into a single network"
In such a difficult situation that Erdoğan has been in for a week, she can promise that a starship can be produced in Türkiye as early as 2031. Of course, under her leadership ;)

It was stated that it will have a payload capacity of ~10 tons. Nice to see it confirmed.

And an exact 0.95 with indigenous engines.
About 8000 kg of fuel then, similar to F22 and F35 probably. Which means rather short radius with 2 engines. I was hoping for more

GTU-0 does not include some structural technologies that will be used in the final aircraft, especially the titanium bulkheads that will be produced with the world's largest 3D printer. Not only the fuselage, but also the systems will decrease towards optimal weight.

I searched for the link for a while and couldn't find it, but I remembered that the weight loss that will come with the new bulkheads alone is around 3 tons.

The features have changed a lot.

How will we see this in the design? Has anyone seen the design? Can we expect a change similar to the Y-22 and F-22?

@Yasar_TR give a clear and undisputed answer to that.

What is the difference between gross weight and maximum takeoff weight in aircraft? There is a 6-7 ton difference.

For example:
F-35
Gross weight: 22,471 kg
Maximum takeoff weight: 29,900 kg

Gross weight is the total weight of aircraft itself+load+fuel+passenger(s) whereas maximum take off weight (MTOW) is the “highest weight at which the aircraft certified to take off

At your example, F35 never should exceed the designated 29,900 kg MTOW limit.

Does this update mean we are one step closer to the next prototype and its flight?

Good question. I wonder that myself. I see people still debate Number of prototypes to be built but there should be a ‘final/ultimate’ one that is the closest to serial production version.

So we'll have to wait for a new prototype to be made. We have to follow the norm on building prototype and testing them. Doesn't that mean the previous prototypes won't progress / tested any further ?

Maybe they will be used for system integration tests?!
