if there was a dedicated effort, they would have mentioned it specifically, not be assumed under blanket statements.@Pokemonte13 @hugh what do you understand under "fully domestic"? Also the current CEO said this.

it could be, well it should be, on the roadmap but, to me, expressions like "fully domestic" are geared more towards public consumption. if someday they announced "this company develops this system, building these labs, aiming for these targets" then I'd be convinced.
I just checked out the wikipedia page of Martin Baker and even Chinese aircraft use their products. We dont need to reinvent the wheel and need to keep costs in check too.
In theory yes, and it is very unlikly to get embargoed.
But our "allies" are a different kind of breed when it comes to us. Again i don't expect an embargo too.
Nothing what I said was only about the unrealistic and annoying timeframes about the projects@Pokemonte13 @hugh what do you understand under "fully domestic"? Also the current CEO said this.
Pilots are more important than the 150 million aircraft, you are speaking literal nonsense. When you look at the history of ejection seats even Romania made ejection seats at some point in time. Thinking Türkiye won't be able to make ejection seats is absurd. It may not be 100% up to par but it can be 85% at least for an initial breed. Going into the era of optionally manned fighters probably the importance of a seat is less and less as so long as the plane is in one piece it will fly you back safe thus reducing the likelihood of needing one to a small level. Japanese pilots flown into certain death, our pilots can fly into a small possibility in pride no problem.

%15 by your figure. You are talking about leaving 15% of potential losses to die for nothing. How many pilots, one?
İ agree with mister Kotil. Blood suger are very important for brain activityhe believed in the supremacy of baklava.

You know your way of thinking doesnt make any sense rather looks like insanity? How many pilots, one? If the pilot will not take risk his life for the mission maybe it is time for him to find a desk job.
We call it heroism, and we call our soldiers our heroes. You know your way of thinking doesnt make any sense rather looks like insanity?
How long does it take to train a combat pilot and im not talking about just the 2 years( + experince) of pilot training program?
Dont act like a combat pilot is expendable/dispensable.
We call it heroism, and we call our soldiers our heroes.
You are stretching my words, taking risks does not mean expandable, you don't want to face pilot shortage in any case so why waste pilots.
The new breed of fighters can be made to operate with an easy pilot workload and you can train those pilots faster.
If you want to wait until you get everything perfectly prepared for war you wait forever.
Yes, what kind of a question is this? A test flight or two does not mean "AI" will be able to do a pilots job as good as they do, over and over again. Nothing about "AI" is intelligent other than its name ffs, we are years and years away from a pilot just sitting in the cockpit and giving orders while the plane flies itself and engage in combat. Air forces around the world aren't desperately looking for pilots because they just love seeing them in their uniforms, they are irreplaceable for the foreseeable future.Today do we still need high skilled pilotage?
You can't find the leader spirit just anywhere, instead of leading future generations some want to follow the previous generations.Apart from upper discussion, thanks to AI importance of pilots is reducing.. Today do we still need high skilled pilotage?
You don't need high skilled brilliant brains. Being a pilot getting easier and very soon pilots will be bored in missions while AI fullfil your commands.
Please remember the Flight engineer job disappeared
