Dostojevskij has authored many master pieces throughout his life and I'd like to recommend Idiót to some of my fellow forummers.

The struggles we have won't disappear anytime soon or next 20 years. creating an institutionalized infrastructure that maintains and evolves what knowledge we have would require educational institutions contribution to the industry of avionics. And we'd need to order and buy the products to maintain a driving force behind it.

Like France does. As it is the whims of politicians can pretty much screw us over instantly.

Finding partners and producing 4.5 gen would already be a huge success considering how we'd be able to offer a jet to friendly Nations without strings like the west does it.

4G? Who wants to partner on a new 4G project with Gripen E, F-16, Rafale, Eurofighter, F-15EX in production and Tejas Mk2 due to enter production next decade?

What about Spain partnering in some way in KAAN if FCAS is abandoned? Would not be spending on FCAS, so would have funds available.

It is not surprising that this could happen, given that the FCAS project has so far been a "pull and don't break"...
Spain is following the development of the KAAN fighter very closely

Would be nice if they can make it before the NATO summit in Ankara.

According to this newspaper article a year ago, the NATO summit is scheduled to be held in this building in Ankara.
It's therefore not surprising that the first flight of the (KAAN P1) fighter will take place around the same time.

Unlikely the building isn't finished

No, NATO has also announced that the summit will be held at the Presidential Complex.

The Ayyıldız Campus is not yet ready. I don't expect it to open before the end of the year.

If you look at the news, you'll see that it's from last July.

Nobody can really reply in detail, as the plane is still under development and much is kept secret

First of all Kaan is a big heavy plane > 20m length. So it makes sense to compare to aircraft in same weight class to have an idea of what it can theoretically carry

Also the internal bay space is kept secret, we think it can carry 4-6 AA missile internally and more of course externally under the wings

B I do not know

C also there much is secret, some open source mention 2000 TR modules but we do not know if that is correct

D yes it will have side looking radars, but again details are unknown

Most of the information you are asking are classified. But…
According to “Turkish Century” site, on each cheek of the plane it will have in excess of 2000 GaN based T/R modules.
However this may be wrong translation of an official’s speech as some officials had mentioned a total of 4000+ Modules for the BURFIS (KAAN’s radar system) which included the cheeks and the nose.

It will have a Murad 600 Aesa radar on the nose which is part of the BURFIS.

As far as we can make out there are several versions of the Murad nose radar:

MURAD-100 (Akinci and maybe Hurjet)
MURAD-100A (F-16Özgür and KE)
MURAD-600A (Kaan)

We know that Murad 100 radar has around 1150-1200 GaN based T/R modules. Not much has been disclosed about the T/R module count of Murad-600 though. However with such a big nose it is estimated to be capable of housing a GaN based Aesa radar with over 2000 T/R modules. A further 2000 modules may be distributed to the cheeks.

KAAN has a large IWB. It can accommodate a good number of a2a missiles. 6BVR and 2WVR is a possibility. But again these are classified stuff. We can only speculate.
