Not really as the Mamluks were already preparing for Hulagus Arrivals also their alliance with Berke Khan paid off.

Just when Hulagu was going to attack is when Berke Khan intervened.

Basically took a Turk and a Mongol to stop another Mongol.

Ayn Jalut was basically deciesive as the Mongols suffered a defeat on equal terms.

They did lose in Vietnam, Japan and Indonesia. Japan was due to typhoons which wiped out the Mongol navy, Vietnam despite defeat they were still able to sack the capital city and vassalise the Vietnamese. In Indonesia the same old story they lost due to their navy also how cavalry does not work when it comes to naval and island warfare.
