ASUNIM, a solar EPC company, signed a contract with Akfen Renewable Energy affiliate Derbent Enerji for the 40MWp Hybrid Solar Power Project. ASUNIM will build a solar power plant with a power of 40MWp as an auxiliary source to the Üçpınar Wind Power Plant, which has an installed power of 112.2 MWm/99 MWe, owned by Akfen Renewable Energy.
The power plant will be installed with a total power of 40MWp for 13 different subareas within the project site. Project planning, engineering and installation are predicted to be completed in a record time of 5 months.

TEMSAN, a company affiliated with the Ministry of Energy, has developed a compact mini Hydroelectric Power Plant reaching 1 MW installed power that can be installed without requiring construction. HİDROTEM, which can be installed without requiring construction thanks to its unique design, saves both space and time.

The system is designed to be used in municipal transmission and agricultural irrigation lines, drinking water treatment facilities, water tank inlets and outlets, facilities using cooling water, and sea discharge points.

If that is true, then this has great export potential, especially to South Africa. Imagine how many villages etc. that exist near the rivers that keeps flowing uninterrupted. Have to watch out for Rain Season and such, but these could provide decent energy to remote places.

Do you think we could use this to support engines on warships?

This needs flowing water.
After filtering sea water at a simple level, it is not very difficult to pass it through turbines at high pressure. When the pressure increases, you will get the force you are looking for.

This consumes energy.
You cannot implement any ecosystem at zero cost. The main aim here is to reduce the cost to minimum levels. In my opinion, the possibility of using water in the seas for energy needs with extremely simple methods and having an unlimited "fuel source" here should be a feature that changes all balances.

Ships withdrawing water and releasing it back into the sea may have the potential to create an extra trace against submarines. However, you can solve this by circulating the water in the pipes inside the ship.
Thus, although it provides a relatively limited energy source, the detectability of the ship is also limited.

I don't want to be the person breaking the news but simply put energy comes from movement or heat (including photovoltaic). If you do not have these you don't get energy. The HES in question uses running water. It is best to develop small nuclear power-plants that are easy to deploy.

This troll physics like question. Ships need engines to move water back to propel themselves. If you are putting a hydroelectric generator on ship, you are creating additional resistance and working against what your engines are doing and with great inefficiency. If you were anchored it may work, but again the waves on open sea are not that predictable and the anchor is not like being statically attached to the ground.

"This resource can have an important place in the production of electrical energy by being used both to sustain our lives and to produce energy. The idea of generating electricity from water distribution networks existing in the infrastructure of cities has attracted the attention of many researchers.

In particular, instead of absorbing the excess pressure in water distribution networks due to the existing pressure or various reasons in the network with pressure breakers (valves, maslak, etc.), both the pressure can be reduced and electrical energy can be obtained with micro turbines placed in the pipe.

Thus, it will be an environmentally friendly application that does not require any additional cost to reduce the pressure and electricity can be obtained from the network.

In this study, it was investigated that electricity can be produced with an in-pipe turbine by taking advantage of the existing pressures in water distribution networks. As a result, it has been demonstrated that electrical energy can be obtained from drinking water networks."

Of course that pressure is the movement of water and can be utilized to turn a turbine. That's how the proposed HES uses the existing moving water in water systems. But it can't be used when the water does not have any potential or kinetic energy.

You will generate the energy inside the ship. Not outside. If you try to produce it outside, you cannot insulate the acoustic and thermal traces that will occur. This increases the detectability of the ship.
