Well, it is an open secret that the pro-Western forces in Armenia are actually pro-normalization of the Armenian-Turkish relationship. These are the people who tend to support Nikol Pashinyan. Despite Turkey's ongoing conflicts with her Western partners, many Armenian citizens critical of Russia still believe that Turkey is their only real gate and escape rout to Europe and North America.

They want the borders to re-open as it is seen as the only sustainable solution to lower Russia's influence in the long term. Obviously, the Western world can't hardly wait to see this happening.

Weird thing is that the current Armenian leadership would bite the bullet but only if it is a Turkish one. Any policy, decision, step that can be perceived as caving in to Azerbaijani demands however is no option due to the immense public pressure in the Armenian diaspora. Turkey, on the other hand, can but won`t act on anything that hasn't been pre-approved by Baku.

The situation is messy.

Nooo, why?? I don't want everything to be squeezed into one mega thread. That doesn't make sense.

Generally what I do (in my section) is I let members post however they want (news etc)....new threads or existing ones is fine.

Then each month end I archive whats needed into the existing ones to keep the forum organised.

It basically gives about 1 - 2 months for "headline" threads to exist outside of archives.

This way everyone is kind of happy and little need to micro-manage.

Yes but it depends on the specific illness. Why do you ask?

Have we ever seen the armenians behave rationally towards us?

A clown like Pashinyon just yesterday was making territorial demands of Turkey and claiming that if armenia falls they will be wiped out and the Turks will be at the gates of Vienna.

We are expecting a mad clown in pashinyon to behave in good faith? Thats not to mention that their disaporia is even madder then he is.

I said this before and I will say it again, if France and Germany can be buddies today, then Turkey and Armenia can have at least normal relations. Wounds of the Armenians are fresh, but the fruits of an open border and economic cooperation are bigger in the long term. Turkeys border regions would benefit as well as our exporters.

Azerbaijan and Georgia will follow our example.

More likely to get beef out of a pig than have Armenia work towards a mutually beneficial and prosperous future with it's neighbours.

Obviously the reason why there are so many Armenian diaspora is the limited economic prospect at home. Whatever money is left is spent on the military, which after years of having the largest pie of the economy, failed spectacularly last year.

Generally Armenian people are ok, as long they don't come with armenian genocide stories you actually talk with them. Eat, drink, do bussines with them. I have met Armenians from Armenia, Armenians from Libanon. How can you save people from indoctrination?

Its the same with greeks, but behind your back they will run your nation and people into the ground, while supporting anything anti-Turkey.

Oh, please...it's like a member of Genç Atsızcılar is talking in Azerbaijan against Armenians. So what?

The difference is genc atsizcilar are not terrorists compared to the Dashnak pigs who are terrorists and their extensions like asala and jcag.
