All in all, 90s were better than the 80's. At least there weren't any left wing-right wing massacres. But 90's had their own set of crises. I mean, who can forget Susurluk, for example?

The world was also very different. Soviets had just collapsed. Serbs were massacring muslims in Kosovo. Kids were playing the first PlayStation. US troops were waging the gulf war. Internet was just becoming mainstream. And Bill Clinton was getting his dick sucked by Monica Lewinsky.
Finally we talking about fax - I also remember old Turkey, especially the 1990s, and how bitterly poor Turkey was back then, how badly poor the people were, how disgusting the hospitals were. Today's generations have forgotten or have never seen a shit - are ungrateful and romanticize the rotten history of turkey... none of these "Turks" would endure even an hour in what was then turkey, where shit flowed into channels, there was no real local traffic, paved roads only to be found in metropolises... and there is a power failure every 3 hours
