If i was Turkiye i will do this :
1- Buy 100 of J-10 if possible install Turkish sytems and give them to Jandarma air force (not army air force)

But its too late , this should be done 2010-2015. Now even if we order fighters they will come after 4-5 years when KAAN will become active so just work hard on national fighters .

Aslo Turkiye is buying western airbus planes this is aslo wrong , Turkiye should work with china , Russia, Brasil and buy at least regional planes from them and buy only some 20 intercontinental planes from west
Western world is in decline and better to split our roads now then whem becames too late .
the day you buy anything with significance from china you can say Goodbye to F110 for Kaan and F404 for hurjet etc... no more LM2500 ... back to stone age.

J-10 was never an option, even the Su-57 wasnt.
We will wait for the KAAN.

since this news is true, i'm scared now about REIS project.
rumors about REIS might be true after all. if they kill the REIS project we are fucked bad.
we can survive without EF2000, but REIS will be hard.
ne gunlere kaldik AMK. : trans fucked-up days
And some Turks still want to work with west and see them as example to follow this remember me flies in cow ass , west never accepted Turkiye and Turks should know it and splint their road one and forever .
If Reis is stopped than germany will pay billions of dollars and with that money we can build other weapons like istanbul class frigates or work for National Milden .

The day US troops in Incirlik are gone, is the day that the NATO umbrella nukes are gone.

Bro J10 is super fighter aircraft and has only 1 crash that is caused by human fault it was a woman pilot 😅🤦‍♂️ while western super duppa f35 crash every month and lost in unknow direction 💩💩
Nope, the J10 is good enough for countries not able or allowed to buy Western fighters.
We already have the F-16 which is better,so why go backward instead of forward?

When asked whether the combat aircraft in the hands of the Turkish Armed Forces will meet their missions, Güler said, "Our F-16s and F-4s are sufficient for the tasks we will carry out.

But of course we are looking forward. We initially applied for the F-35 for the future, but some problems arose with the F-35. We are also working on alternatives.

"In order to modernize our F-16s, we will purchase 40 ready-made F-16 Block 70 Vipers, and we will modernize 79 of them ourselves at TAI."

“We have two planes that are the main thing for us.” Güler said, "One of these is Hürjet. This will also be our training aircraft.

It is also a combat aircraft. Our main target is our 5th generation national combat aircraft, Kaan. Hopefully it will make its first flight at the end of this year.

It is a 5th generation aircraft. We are working on our own engine. "We will supply the domestic engine in 2028, and it will be flying with our own engine in 2032 at the latest," he said.

No it cant, its not like changing tires.
No Russian or Chinese engine is good enough and we would need to create a whole new infrastructure for it.
Not worth it.
We know the F-110 engine's ins and outs,we can build them ourselves from scratch(licenced).
Its reliable easy to maintain, the F-110 has up to 8000 hours lifespan,Russian or Chinese engines have at most 4000 hours.
Maintenance after 750 hours,Russian or Chinese engine 200/300 hours.
Etc etc.

U think only that is produced in china and its bad but thats not true . If u look J 10 is western design , israeli Lavi project that jews spy/steal like everything else from west .
It is majestic aircraft for Turkiye is better choice than Su 57 that is big , costly perhaps problematic and china J 20.
This J10 is china F16 and f16 of 1970 is not the same as f16 viper B70 in 2023 so J 10 can be converted with Turk Aesa radar , AA missiles and other equipment .
Ws 10G perhaps china will not allow it since has thrust vectoring tech but stil Ws 10C is good

Thats military doctrine of russia china vs western ones.
Do u think really russia or china cant produce 8000 lifespan engine??🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️
Estern countries produce them in mass thousends of themand want to be very cheap while western one except US produce high quality very costly weapons but with f35 that western doctrine aslo go down .
Thats why Uk, France , Italy ,Germany only have 300 modern 70 ton tanks while Russia 50000 ,40 ton tanks 🤦‍♂😅

And Turkey has adopted its military doctrine in the Western line almost eight decades ago and is on the verge of creating and implementing its own within the next decade . So, there you go.

Russia can't produce a high performance turbofan engine that can last 8k flight hours. China is yet to prove they can.
No need to give F-35 as an example. F-16 works too. It is the most built modern fighter in existence.

European countries you listed doesn't have low numbers of tanks because their tanks were expensive. They had the numbers to match. West Germany had about 7000 tanks in 80s. Unlike Russians, they just disarmed faster after 1991 because they didn't need them anymore after winning the cold war. In most cases, it was cheaper for the Russians to let all that equipment gather dust in depots in Siberia rather than dismantling them, unlike the rest of us.

The rumours about the Reis project are true but let's not get ahead of ourselves cancelling the Reis project is a big move and I doubt Germans will take that step so until Germany acts on its veiled threat we should not make it bigger than it seems. Having said that, Germans are acting like headless chickens in a hysterical mood. We shouldn't rule out the risk of cancellation completely. It is indeed not %0.

Most people here got news from the defense industry or military sources. I heard German veiled threats towards the Reis project from a foreign ministry source. And it is not just Germany several countries threw a tantrum at lower levels, for now, and most likely in coordination, after Erdogan said Hamas is not a terrorist organization. And it is not just about the Reis project. The threats start from military projects to unlisting PKK as a terror organization and sanctions against some entities in Turkiye.

So really AKP simping for a bunch of murderous militants in a conflict which Turkey has no interest in and is actively funded by entities hostile to Turkey is biting Turkey in the ass.

Who would've thought?
Türkiye is on its own side, kill the promised land dream before it is a thing.

Scholz is acting like an utter moron out of guilt, even Germans dislike what he is doing. Holocaust was an atrocity and all but blindly supporting Netanyahu of all people is insane So I really wouldn't be surprised if they did something monumentally stupid.

Half the nation sees this sort of politics as a great success, that's the bigger nightmare facing the nation. To divert from their constant geopolitical failings they will talk about the evils of secularism.

The whole fighter jet incident turned into a massive joke Buy shitty s400 to start the ball rolling against Turkiye and then constantly take the geopolitical position that harms Turkiye.

I had hoped that Aliyev could have taught erdogan how to balance relationships in order to achieve success on the ground. He must be watching Erdogan and thinking to himself what this guy is doing is suicide.

Turkiyes enemies just have to sit back and let erdogan get to work, that is enough for them to win on the ground.

Imagine calling hamas ‘’freedom fighters’’ and then asking for new jets days later. And then the constant victimization that follow up when in reality we’re also part of the problem. We’re giving them the stick to beat us and then ask why are they doing it.
