Greatest mistake ever IMO
Turkey should really abondon the idea of buying the F35s and instead concentrate on KAAN with some Typhoons as a stopgap measure

The money spent on F35s can be better spent on the KAAN prongram instead

Too late for that. Rheinmettal of Germany already was assigned as a replacement, took over Turkey’s work share and started manufacturing within last week.

UBAS (Aircraft Independent Firing System)

was also integrated as a plug and play solution to Azerbaijani SU-25s, giving capability to use modern munitions such as SOM.

I hope we can actively export this solution especially for Soviet/Russian origin aircraft. It can be a boost to munition sales.
