I think we have done enough co-production and sub-licensing, isn't it time to stand on our own two feet?I wonder what would have happened if we hadn't rejected the KC-390 joint design and production offer years ago.

It is indeed a Block 50 F-16C.
Well yes, there are no other 2007 registry aircraft. 30(-1) Block 50+s with CFT and spines for Ds are all 2007-08. This small bird is among our most modern fighters. It is indeed a Block 50 F-16C.
I think we had some prerequisites before procuring fighter jets from America. Integration of domestic ammunition into current and future fighter jets may be one of these prerequisites. If I remember right, this might be the first ever photo of SOM with 50+. Possible that UBAS has had a hand in this SOM equation, but I don’t see any changes to the launcher. Also see SDT’s ACMI pod on wing edge pylon. Which would probably mean that this is not test but training.
And we have paid some. Maybe this was for the software!?I think we had some prerequisites before procuring fighter jets from America. That government will change in a few weeks, so we have to wait for the new one.The governing red-green federal government is preventing the delivery of around three dozen Eurofighter combat jets to Turkey. This was learned by Handelsblatt from several sources familiar with the confidential internal government discussions on the matter.
Let’s see if that makes a difference as it didn’t made one in the pastThat government will change in a few weeks, so we have to wait for the new one.

Germany vetoed Turkiye's Eurofighter acquisition amidst arrest of Ekrem Imamoglu
German government is changing in May 6 so they might change their policy again. I don't know
Actually just spd and cdu they needed the greens for a constitutional change (debt brake) not for governmentThey still need the SDP and the Greens in the new ruling coalition.
Looking at the rapid increase in C-390 customers recently, that looks like a big mistake.I wonder what would have happened if we hadn't rejected the KC-390 joint design and production offer years ago.

Did you tell that to KSA too?An anti-democrat leading a democracy arrests his political rival. A democratic country chooses to embargo arms to that country suppressing its own democracy. Until things change Turkish air force will get no Eurofighters.
If we shoot 100 billion tomorrow to fund German businesses, have a nice working relationship with Israel and no issues with Greece on Greece's terms, I'm sure they will listen to us closely. We are not KSA. We can't afford to be KSA.Did you tell that to KSA too?
I just want to point out that their reason is not Ekrem, it is their excuse. Two different things. Of course the question is if it is smart to give them those excuses, like the S400 for example? If we shoot 100 billion tomorrow to fund German businesses, have a nice working relationship with Israel and no issues with Greece on Greece's terms, I'm sure they will listen to us closely. We are not KSA. We can't afford to be KSA.
Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different outcome. This is insane.
