Source?? How much tl lost value in the last month?? From 8,5 to 9,5 first now it is 14!!
It was around 9,5-10 billion USD 1-3 months ago!! Now it is 5-6 billion USD!! This value also includes personnel salaries.
So it did not shrink ??
With this dolar tl ratio, you can not produce anything but you may get only missiles and some maintenance can be done.

And for the ones who will say, we are producing our stuff etc.
You produce 70-75 percent local but locality ratio of that 70-75 percent includes systems from abroad. Let's say local systems has 20 percent abroad products in them. So our locality is only 55-60 percent. Remaining 40-45 percent of systems are subject to dolar directly!! The local 60 percent subject to Üfe price increases!!Additionally , with Üfe has 54 percent inflation .

Please fill the lines after I mentioned the numbers!!
Did our defence budget shrink or not??
Will we be able to buy more stuff or not??

I am giving only logical figures. Our 70-75 percent local production consists of some systems fr abroad. I calculated them 20 percent in terms of cost. So our local percentage is around 56-60 percent in terms of cost. This is the figure i calculate with 20 percent abroad cost content of our local products .
Any way, what was the main question you asked?? It was how did I say that defense spending decrease.
Tell us the figures in dolar( i have provided values in tl both for 2021 and for 2022) and lets see whether I said truth or not!!

With the devaluation, state earns more from the taxes, they have also updated stamp etc services fee by 31%.
So the costs will definitely increase for services and items origination from Turkey. Number 1 will be the salaries, companies will need to keep up salaries in a competitive level to not loose further employees.
And it is not absurd to expect the MSB / SSB will definitely get what they have planned to receive with the first budget too.
