This is business, nothing to do with relations.
Both countries bought Turkish weapon systems in the past.
Turkish interests > sale of potential military equipment to morocco.

Also lets not ignore that Morocco's government has outed itself as nothing but the stooge of Israel. Any further sales to them should be stopped.

Algeria makes sense as a destination for our S-400 as they are already a big Russian costumer.

Yeah,thats not how it works.
We have good relations with Russia, should the Europeans not work with us then?
Kazakhistan,Uzbekistan,Türkmenistan, kirgizstan all are Turkic states but have good relations with Israel, should we stop trade relations?
Türkiye has good relations with both Algeria and Morocco, better to keep it that way.

Sorry but those situations arent really comparable. Turkey did not start hybrid wars against an EU member for Russia as Morocco did for Israel against Spain.

Turkey and Russia are also geographical rivals as much as we act civilized with each other.

I also did not speak of trade relations but selling sensitive military equipment to a country that has outed itself as nothing but a proxy country who will start trouble with its neighbors for Israel. Anyone here think they will not hand over parts to Israel? Yes they will and probably already did.

Most EU countries also do not sell us military equipment btw so yes, any and all sale of military equipment to countries that are so deep in the pockets of the Israelis should be stopped with immidiate effect.

I also advocated for suspending any deals and partnerships with Turkic countries who were creeping up a dying EU ass and signing their names under a statement labeling Turkey as a invader and occupier in Cyprus.

I can search the comments I made about those countries here.

I remember saying "Kazakhstan can call upon the EU and the greeks to save them when the russian bear remembers they exist once again."

Turkey needs none of those countries, on the contrary they NEED US.

They have no real allies, no real partners. If tomorrow Russia decided to invade Kazakhstan their beloved EU would release a statement on Twitter and go back to sleep giggling meanwhile that this means the Russians will have to divert resources away from the EU.

Nevertheless this is getting oiff-topic.

I once watched a documentary asking people in turkic countries on what they think about Turks in Türkiye. Most answers were negative with Azeris showing relatively more sympathy but not the level we expect. Most of these people are half Mongols in their genes. For me any Country that has good relations with Israel and Greece no go. On the other hand I must say the „business“ people who went to those countries in1990s did not leave a good image of Türkiye there. This is similar to the situation in nord cyprus. „Turks“ from Anatolia need to refine their certain manners. Sorry for some self-critic.

We argued a lot over the years if Canada would cancel its F-35 order or not. They didn't, and received their first two CF-35s yesterday. To this day, no country aside from Turkey has "cancelled" their order. Fog over Turkish F-35s still is up high.

With Midterms around the corner any "hope" of getting F-35 is pretty much over. Democrats are projected to win back both the Senate and House.

I said it after the NATO Summit something is gonna happen it has to happen quickly. We will most likely not even see CAATSA lifted.

Is there still anyone who believes we can get the F-35?

The Israeli lobby will never accept Turkey’s return to the F-35 program. The Democrats have almost certainly won the midterm elections, which means there is no longer any chance of CAATSA sanctions being lifted either. For the past three months, there has been talk of selling the S-400s to a Gulf country, but apparently Russia isn’t too keen on the idea either.

KAAN is our only way forward. We need to stop getting our hopes up about the F-35. If Trump wanted to, he could find a way to resolve this issue, but they won’t let him. That is why F-35s will never fly for the Turkish Air Force.

For this reason, we should devote all our time and resources to KAAN. I don’t care about the F-35 anymore, and I’m no longer interested in what happens with it.

we have to ask ourselves what was the point in being so anti-Isreal when are airforce is still dependent on the USA so heavily? Could these so called western backed islamists not of waited another 20 years before revealing their faces?

Seems like being so anti-Isreal so soon basically made everything harder for us and everything easier for our enemies.

yo are right, as algeria already has the S-400 in their hand, buying from turkey is just a other trip for algerians to increas number of Sam's.
and even so, algeria is not concerned about senctions as its already operating multile high tech from different side. best exemple i could give you is the Su-57E working together with USA ground advanced Aesa Radars for balistic and long range detection, while USA is selling Blk-72/70 and Apache to Moroco.

Our belligerent (to say the least) foreign policy helped our enemies the most. And repressive and regressive domestic policy gave them further ammo against us. We are far more important than those that work against us (most of them at any rate) yet we can barely find support anywhere. F-35 debacle is just another example of this.

Even if you’ve decided to break things off with someone for good, there’s no need to slam the door shut behind you—it’s wiser to leave it ajar; who knows, you might just have to return one day! 😉
Unless, of course, you’ve already left a formal note on the table declaring the start of hostilities!
