As a supersonic target drone, the JEMSAH was said to be able to emulate other aircraft. JEMSAH which will be dropped from another aircraft before entering the enemy airspace, is a system developed to attract the attention of enemy radars by imitating a manned aircraft. If the RF seeker head developed for Kargi or Akbaba can be integrated into this system, the kamikaze attack capability can be developed against an enemy radars that is locked to it. We can safely say this to be true, since they have been already experimenting these with şimşet target drone;

• First it was air launched target drone, (JEMSAH also will be used as a target practice drone).
• Then it was again tested with some air-launches without an interceptor (possibly with decoy-emulation sensors or transmitters).
• Finally it was tested against land targets in cruise missile profile.

Şimşek was used as technology development test-bed for the JEMSAH, since newer air surveillance tech also relies on sensor fusion (E/O + Radar), giving JEMSAH a secondary attack role will force the targeted air defenses to fire and consume their missile. It may not destroy the target to the ashes but it can render the radar and other sensors useless temporarily.
