Impressive capabilities. Think about it as more than 50 long range swarm kamikaze drones have image stabilization, autonomous object tracking, moving object detection, swarm autonomous target trasfer, GPS denied day/night visual navigation.
Turkey's kamikaze drone projects are the reminder of nightmare for the enemy. In its last statement, STM manager also mentioned the existence of long-range kamikaze drone projects and longer range variants of existing drones. There is currently no known effective defense capability against this technology.

It also has one more interesting project.

"Landing at moving targets", allows an armored vehicle to deploy drone and collect it back while on the move.

Tethered / Untethered drones can be used to multiply situational awareness capability.

This can be improved beyond the visual symbol tracking via using a pinger, proximity radar for orientation and landing. It has a lot of potential on reusable drones.

OMGSF will be a more suitable missile for this type of mission.

Very nice.. Some of the stuff is common and nice to see we can do it. Some parts I haven't seen before, the method in 0:11 is very intriguing.. looks like they are able to create and update a 3rd person view with correct perspective by using a first person camera updates.

Imagine using these techniques on bigger UAVs and also imported to smaller munitions like imaging MAM-L, all working together sharing relevant parts of the battlefield picture using different sensors, swarming together using different kinds of redundant links to talk.

Based on the STM manager reportage, STM is currently developing following kamikaze drones

  • Kargu-1/2 (up to 25km)
  • Alpagu-1/2 (Tek-Er and Multi-Launcher mode) (up to 10km)
  • Alpagu ER(?) (Heavier Alpagu for Ship and Land vehicle launch) (Most likely SwitchBlade-600 equivalent with 40km range. SB-600 has 55kg weight. Switchblade-300 is direct equivalent of Alpagu blk2)
  • X Longer range kamikaze and loitering drone projects (Most likely those are Israeli Skystriker or Skylark loitering drone equivalents with 100+km ranges)

All kamikaze and loitering drones will have following features;

  • Image stabilization
  • Autonomous object tracking
  • Autonomous moving object detection
  • Autonomous target identification
  • Swarm autonomous target data trasfer
  • Swarm division
  • Autonomous Target prioritization
  • Autonomous swarm flight formation based on selection
  • Wave off capability
  • Landing at moving targets (for multi-rotor kamikaze drones)
  • GPS denied day/night visual navigation

For our members who have not followed these developments before, the name of the GPS denied navigation feature project is KERKES. The trials of the Kerkes project have been revealed by STM.

Mosaicing, Baykar were doing this like 10 years ago..

From 2012 -

Don't know why Baykar weren't given task to develop loitering drones, Vestel have been dragging their feet.

Baykar one is using multiple images to update a bigger picture.

STM did something different, if I understood correctly, they used new images from a different position and corrected it for perspective and zoom for the initial picture. Maybe it’s the same but felt very strange to watch it. (Probably due to clever editing and scene changes by STM when image is about to collapse. And by flying towards the target they created an artificial god’s eye view… maybe that was not intentional)

What's the source on TAF insisting on Wescam Products?

Me

Notice How there is an Effort to Censor Date and Serial Numbers of ANKAs and AKSUNGURs.

Conclusion:

The Censoring of Serials and Hiding of EO of the ANKAs are likely tied together.
Something tells me that some things aren't 100% Legal and in order to avoid telling on themselves they just blurred it.

From the UAV Systems Command visit

The AKINCI in the 1st Picture is AKINCI S2
The AKINCI behind that is AKINCI A1 (no idea what that stands for)

Except for Su-35, the Russia has no way to discover TB2. The downed TB2 is also taken down from the Su-35.

The Russians are trying to fill this gap with EW. And that's why we see so much EW hardware even of the latest variety like LEER 3, LEER 4 and and TORN.

I hope your source is not from a C:MO scenario. I have seen somebody tweeting it and everybody thought it was a radar simulation. The RCS for TB-2 in the software is defined at F-22 level, also it is a tactical game, not a radar simulator.

Later in the replies the developer admits they estimate the range first then define the value for RCS to fit into radar equations. So is TB-2 RCS=F-22 RCS? Not possible.

The database for the game:

This is TB-2 without weapons:

This is F-22:

The game/sim is a good one and I also have it, but it’s not a radar sim.

No my assessment.

In addition to the design features, user experience also plays a role in the uncovering of the TB2. TB2 BAYRAKTAR gives its highest RCS value to heaven not to ground. That's where SU-35 comes into play with its L-Band radar on wings.

Are you the same person who did the study? If no, how could you calculate this?

I wonder how TB2 antennas, landing gear etc come into play. Also how they hide the engine and optics. Without knowing about skin properties how it can be calculated etc…

My prediction is: its RCS is not much, like a small plane but not stealth/VLO level and because of Russian type radar screens the operator misses it if not automatically filtered for “low RCS and slow speed” type of targets.

Okay, I thought there was actual factual source behind it. Not an opinionated analysis based on TV channels random censorship.

This is from StealthFlanker from another forum, he has written a program that extapulates radar signature at different band lengths based on 3D models. Probably the best one I've seen.

"So i did my estimate on TB-2's Radar Cross Section. got to say it's a clever design. By focusing the largest spike upward. It shows RCS optimization against ground based radars at least up to S-band. Which pretty much those one may encounter in tactical situations (most if not all ground based Mobile air defense's radar are in S-band).

The spike however begin to broaden at L and VHF band."
