To understand the issues related to TUSAŞ vs. Baykar, you must watch this video.

TUSAŞ being a state-owned company, has some problems within. Look at the Hürkuş, for example; how many years have passed since that thing made its first flight? They don't even bother saying the exact reasons for the project to go back into the design stage. They didn't even finish Hürjet, yet speak of redesigning it for TCG Anadolu competency.

Tunisia ordered 3 Anka + 3 Control stations for 80M$, yet Baykar is so cheap that people can raise crowd-funding. Saying government doesn't advertise TAI products is a blatant lie. We have been watching minister-president-level people trying to sell Hürjet to Malaysia for weeks.

Also, Turkish-made engine requirements exist for Baykar as well. Akıncı has a model using the TEI engine, but TEI doesn't have a 750 hp engine for Akıncı-B. Also, the production speed of components is not enough for Baykar. For example, Aselsan aims to produce 6 CATS (TBH nowhere near MX15 for performance) in a month, yet 20 TB-2/month is the speed of Baykar, and aiming to extend it to 30. The same goes for engines.

So, let TUSAŞ put all his efforts and money into their primary projects, which are MMU, Hürjet, and the new Hürkuş (which will come after Hürjet unfortunately). Why does everybody believe every winning product in a competition won by political connections and lost one was better? Maybe they just won because they are better? Not just us, I mean the same goes for "YF-22 vs YF-23" or "X-35 vs X-32".

When we get rid of akp, instead of giving everything to baykar our state company will produce uçağa too.

Im 100% sure you hate Selcuk Bayraktar because his the son in law of Erdogan before he even got married the man was working on his projects.

Also he married pretty late 30+ years old. Honestly I dont think he would get married when his too busy with work day and night.

Selcuk Bayraktar achieved a lot I hope his achievements is a middle to finger to every hater especially you.

Why would we give UAV business to baykar?? Especially when TUSAŞ started UAV business in 1990s??
Instead , we should transfer Baykar facilities to TUSAŞ or vestel?? We will not let TUSAŞ to increase UAV departments capabilities for the sake of Baykar ? You propose this??
After akp , a fair competition will be made for UAVs and Baykar products will not be advertised instead of TUSAŞ ones!!

Get used to this, we will have multiple UAV companies and vest will win ,so TUSAŞ should also increase its UAV departments capabilities!!
Lockheed disband UAV department for the sake of fighter aircrafts??

Tusas has drones on the drawing board since the 1980s. Nothing materialised due to numerous factors.

Lets me guess are you going to blame Baykar for this?

Watch the video of Selcuk Bayraktar in 2005. The man was literally convicing everybody about Uavs with remote control planes.

8 MAM-L is a very good payload. This leaves also almost half of the payload free. would be interesting to see if with better racks we could see Anka carry 10 or maybe even 12 MAM-L.

Or maybe 8 MAM-L coupled with an EW-Pod.

If they can pull inner pylons to carry quad racks, it can support up to 12. This would be better utilized with MAM-T, Kuzgun than 12 MAM - L.

What i want to see it a modular pod that can be integrated under the fuselage, that can either host SAR, Survailance Radar, some form of AESA for ground scanning - targeting, EW - Intelligence equipments additional imaging sensors for targeting multiple platforms etc.

Man, I want this thing to fucking flyyyyy
Hype aside, I wonder why they didn't use DSI intakes, tech limitations? They will upgrade this to 5th gen like aircraft with TF-10000?
Deli sorular
Are DSI intakes needed for subsonic aircraft? Maybe they will add it for the supersonic models. Also Baykar Defense has two different MIUS concepts one of them could feature DSI intakes.

it is not really needed but wedge intakes are only useful when you want to have high Supercruise and Mach 1.6+

While we all know that MIUS (at least for now) is high subsonic. As I said before, maybe they want to make it supercruiseable and Mach 2 with TF-6000 (10000 with AB) as now (subsonic version) has only 1.1k Lbf cruise and 3klbf takeoff. TF-6000's max dry thrust is nearly 6 times higher than AI-25TLT, now when I think in this way, TF-6000 can probably make this bird go faster and probably achieve supercruise and Mach1.6+

I don’t know where you have got those thrust figures. But according to below news pieces MIUS will use AI-322F engine. This engine has a dry thrust of 2500kgf = 5511lbf. Afterburner thrust is 4500kgf = 9920lbf
These are very similar thrust values to TF6000!!

First ones are going to use AI-25TLT, which was also spotted on Baykar production facility
