altitude could be higher, i would trade of endurance time for altitude if technically possible, but great device for military outposts and for remote areas.

UAVOS & TITRA Alpin Unmanned Helicopter Successful Flight in Turkey’s Sky

Delivery Drones Featured Rotary TITRA Unmanned Aviation December 15, 2020

The converted Alpin UAV, which is based on the manned Heli-Sport Italian CH7
helicopter, a joint project of TITRA, a Turkish engineering company, and UAVOS, a
researcher, developer, and manufacturer of advanced products in the unmanned
systems industry, has completed its first successful flight in the sky of the State of
Turkey. The test flight has been performed in preparation of the Alpin unmanned
helicopter, currently being launched on the Turkish market. The Alpin UAV was
created in accordance with the needs and requirements of the Turkish Rescue &
Security industries.

The joint project of TITRA and UAVOS companies was signed in 2019 as a part of the
conversion program of manned aircraft into UAV and addresses the growing market of UAV cargo delivery. The program outlines the conversion of the manned CH7 helicopter into UAV as well as maintenance and training programs.
The Alpin UAS is designed to meet the specific, unique and advanced requirements of
Turkey with its special security industry interests to operate the unmanned system in a variety of complex scenarios in both civilian and security fields. The converted helicopter is indispensable for the UAV logistic industry to deliver cargo to hard-to-reach areas without airfields.
The Alpin UAS is a long-range, heavy-lift unmanned helicopter capable of carrying up to 160 kg with a range of up to 840 km. The UAS includes a wideband satellite communication channel from its command and control station-a valuable feature, particularly for operations in remote areas. The Alpin unmanned helicopter is able to withstand severe weather conditions, carry multiple payloads, and transmit real-time information to the forces and decision-makers in the field.
The Alpin’s system autopilot has features and advantages such as fully autonomous take-off and landing, remote Ground Controls network capability, autorotation landing capability and high-efficiency flight control, based on TECS (Total Energy Control System).
Selman Dönmez, TITRA CEO said “Designing a long range UAV Helicopter from scratch
with a new platform takes long years to complete. From the beginning our goal was to
convert a well-known reliable helicopter platform to unmanned system. Together with our
partners at UAVOS, we have accomplished our target in a very short time. I congratulate my team and friends at UAVOS for this incredible product” Mr. Dönmez continued “Our joint efforts and partnership with UAVOS for the creation of ALPİN UAS, focuses on growth and shared opportunities and we believe it will make a strong, long-term impact in our sector.”

It's a JV between TITRA (TR) and UAVOS (HK) to convert Italian ultralight Heli-Sport CH7 into an unmanned aircraft.
Good quick solution.

Marvel of Argentinian engineering.
In this kind of projects the engineering capability and the national pride are important.
This helicopter in only better than a direct import.
I know other companies working on similar size helicopters.
We want our engineers to make our helicopters.

If I'm not mistaken, TAI had showcased the RiHA (Rotary wing UAV) based on a light helicopter kit.
Not sure whether it was also the CH7.
