Let them first finish Akıncı with promised MTOW, service ceiling and AESA radar.
The goal of project is not developing something with two PD170 MALE, TAI has already done that part within YFYK UAV.

Akıncı project was intended for high altitude , high payload. It is not completed unless these requirements have been met, thus payload and altitude similar to Aksungur should not be accepted as completion or interim product.

And yes all these projects were in road-map prepared by SSB- TAF, for whom still thinks Baykar was innovative and named this UAV as Akıncı , it was already named such before being developed by Baykar, same for MIUS which is not yet decided to be developed by whom.

Until 2023, Akıncı will be today's Bayraktar Tb-2. MIUS will come out of the new hangar. We wouldn't want to have a pause waiting period in between. Baykar Makine should be able to execute 2 large projects at the same time. In fact, Turkey does not have time to wait for maturation of this project. All UAV companies should meet in a single project. Thus, waste of resources is prevented with the power union that will be formed. Turkey Baykar machine should not be forced to choose between TAI and Vestel Defense. The bidding system is just a waste of time. We no longer have time to waste.

Akıncı is not replacement of Aksungur, or vice-versa.
Akıncı will not replace TB2 too, TB2 is still favorable with its price, size, maintenance costs. Akıncı is a target of new capability, more payload, speed and altitude, anything less than those targets is already achieved.

Akıncı is not completed until it is equipped with 750 hp engines, reaching the target of 1+ tonnes payload or 45k feet service ceiling, for anything less than those, there is already Aksungur, equipped with missiles, ready to fly, matured.

Telling again, except of Aksungur the rest of projects are not coming from the companies but from SSB. Aksungur was probably a special requirement by Naval Forces which wasn't ever appointed during preperation of UAV roadmap as they were and are being ignored on AD missile plans.

We need more platforms to meet specific needs of different forces.

Aksungur and Akıncı will not compete, neither MIUS of different companies will. SSB will award a company for development of MIUS when the time comes, based on capability and infrastructure of the companies.

Note: Karayel has not left out because of the competition with Baykar or TAI, Vestel was asked to develop a platform particularly designed small enough to be launched from catapult, they magically ended up with a tactical sized male, and later an armed male platform.

TCG-ERB (Erbakan) tail name was used for TB2 prototype in 2014

Erbakan visited Baykar in 2009 and saw TB1 Çaldıran

I think misunderstanding comes from YouTube video

I got the video, Armenian air defense officer talk to Russian radio about Nagorno Karabagh war openly. He says, when drones were attacking, non of their systems worked normal, but ones drones finished their operation, everything turned to normal. Russian guys said its probably the EW system, he said, They also had EW system of Russia but it couldn't do anything. He also said that if any of the air defense unit soldier turned on its smart phone to take a picture or call and so on, that unit got destroyed right after that, it took them long to understand that that's how they find it.

After reading this I can’t help thinking that the Russians aren’t very happy now for selling the S400 system to Turkey.
Following the collapse of USSR, Turkey purchased S300 systems from Ukraine and Belarus less theır missile. In Konya they were extensively investigated. This was done because the Greeks had stationed the newly acquired S300’s in Crete. The fruit of all this was Koral and the well proven EW capability of Turkish Army and it’s drones working in unison with the EW equipped Ankas.
Now with the S400 in our hands I am sure there will be more EW equipment emerging from the drawing board to the Army inventory.

It would only delay Turkey's countermeasures but not prevent if they didn't sell.
They needed money in anticipation of tougher times.
It helped them a lot to gain Turkey's favor we didn't go too hard on them.
