Agreed. What I'm really interested in is how much that thing will cost. From open sources, we know that an MX-15 cost nearly as much as a single TB2 and losing a TB2 was acceptable but losing the EO was the real loss for that write off.

One other thing to consider and going on a tangent here, From the attritability scale of how acceptable a loss of a drone is, where will Anka-3 sit, between TB2 and say Aksungur or Akıncı?

How many Anka-3s are we looking at for the air force? 10? 25? 50? Mind you, navy only operates about 6(?) Aksungurs currently. Akıncı for air force currently is also less than 10 I believe. Not every drone is a TB2 you can buy in hundreds.

So many questions, and being able get an answer for them some day is just so fun to me

He says there are 15k employees of TAI. A healthy, growing company should have as many open positions as at least 10% of company's employee count. By this logic, TAI should have 1.500 job postings on its website or Linkedin. How many does TAI have? A mere 22. twenty-two! Do they have no hope of Turkiye's human capital that they hire only new-graduates and they don't even bother posting job openings? Why?

/22 positions doesnt mean there are only 1 opening for each of those positions. Most of those positions have had opening for years. And They will continue to hire dozens to exact same role.

Toygun, Yildirim and Karat are still under development phase. Conventional integration of the gimbal is out of the question in a supersonic wing designs. In addition, while a masterpiece like Toygun is being developed and it has been declared that it will be used in MMU and Kizilelma, no one uses gimbal in this form on a platform like Anka-3 that emerged with super stealth features and deasigned for super critical missions (supression and destruction of enemy air defence) along with TFX and Kizilelma. The sub-systems that are on aircraft at the beginning stage will be a kind of stop-gap solution and platform will be developed in blocks when domestic sub-systems are ready for integration. When mass production starts in 2/3 years, we will see neither current foreign engine, nor current E/O system and as a result even the volume of air intakes on it may be different thanks to the air flow need of powerful domestic engine.

In the meantime, mission flights with weapons inside fuselage are used against an enemy posing serious danger to air assets and in such missions using full stealth feature is a must and missiles are taken inside. In times of peace, no one wants their enemies to test/measure RCS form of your aircrafts in their radars so they mostly fly either with an extra apparatus increasing RCS on it or by taking missiles/bombs/drones under their wing. In this way, surprise effect and deterrence is achieved in the most effective way.

Anka-3 is a flying wing design, specifically produced in this manner to achieve stealth and good lift for deep strike capability in to enemy territory.
Even though theoretically possible; No flying wing built in the world is supersonic. To achieve supersonic flight, the wing thickness has to be extra thin which would compromise constructional rigidity. This is because a thicker wing causes high air drag levels and unwanted stresses on the body at supersonic speeds as air travels around the thick wing. Control surfaces would be deep inside the shock wave, and don’t have enough leverage to overcome the center of pressure moving back.
Anka 3 as a flying wing and being subsonic, will achieve its goal of deep strike without being seen by enemy radars. B2 bomber is a much larger version of Anka-3, and is subsonic, powered by 4 F110 non-afterburner version engines. Our TF6000, being built with stealth in mind, will be the natural and logical choice for this bird. At a later stage a twin TF6000 powered Anka-3 may be possible.

ANKA-3, a new generation UAV system, reconnaissance, surveillance and intelligence; attack with different air-ground munitions; air-to-air munitions and enemy helicopters, propeller planes, and hunting scans engaged in UAVs; neutralize enemy RF emitting radar and air defense systems; patronage of friendly forces in the air and on land; signal and communications intelligence; electronic warfare; together with other friendly elements, it will be able to fulfill many tasks such as operation and communication relay.

In its ammunition configuration, the ANKA-3 system will be able to carry 650kg of ammunition at each of the two stations inside the fuselage, 650kg of ammunition at each of the wing inner stations and 100kg at each of the outer stations. Thus, it will be possible to integrate many options from the most frequently used ammunition in today's Unmanned Aerial Vehicles to large ammunition such as SOM-J, MK-82 and MK 82 class, SDB.

Guys what do you think, in which altitudes ANKA 3 will attack? How lower or how higher the stealth unmanned bombers should fly?
İf ANKA 3 attacks like cruise missiles at low altitudes, external weapons couldnt be detected by ground radars.( But From very limited angle could be detected) isn't it?

To me it looks simple enough to do and with the resources that TEI has, having developed exhaust sections of turbofan/gas engines - I don't see why it wasn't achieved in the prototype ANKA-III
