They might be planning ahead for a potential war in the mainland against China, instead of defense of their island. They can easily put them in South Korea or any beachhead and use them.I still think that Aksungur would be more suited for a country like Japan. It is a strategic choice of TSK and the government to have multiple sources for everything from weapons to even nuclear power plants. If one fails/delays the development or is embargoed then the other can continue. this actually happened to our plans with nuclear power plants. 3 were planned but only one got built. This means that the country's resources and energy are not used in an optimized way.I wish this was happening only with UAVs or Air vehicles. It's same with the Sage and Roketsan
A hell of an RC plane.
The way I understand it:
I have expected a better test from UK to be honest. We are going to need a similar cargo drone in future, in fact, more than an armed drone to be honest.
Our passion for landing on aircraft carriers with piston-engined UAVs also attracted the British. This disease infected them too. puhahaha

I have an idea of a similar disposable drop helicopter but needs experimenting. I am sure it can work, similar to parachute speed but steerable and faster. You can even use drop gliders and helicopters for firefighting. This might be good for flat terrain but I am skeptical about usage of it on mountainous area. But definitely our companies should consider.
