Canadian Telemus Systems, which supplied ELINT and ESM systems to TAI, went bankrupt and closed down.

The suspension of existing export permits and the failure to approve new applications drove the company into bankruptcy.

Destroy your own companies to own the Turks!

Oh wait….

Im sure Armenians can pool together some money and keep them a float and replace the millions worth of orders that came from Turkey.

If anyone wanted to know why the West is losing its race against China. This is a prime example.

Virtue signaling based on fabricated claims is more important to the west than actual facts and events on the ground.

Basing your FP on the feelings of non-Canadians and non-Americans instead of the hard cold facts of the world will only continue leading down this path.

Companies closing down, lost influence, lost proxy battles, billions wasted in pet projects.

All of it are just the symptoms. But no one in the west will talk about the disease because talking about it would mean that they did something wrong and we all know the mighty west always makes the right decisions.

In the operation, in which the UÇBEY, a domestic and national VTOL UAV produced by the General Directorate of Security, was used for the first time.
Songül Özgün, codenamed Ruken, on the PKK grey list was neutralized after the vehicle transferred an instant aerial image to the land elements.

But it's interesting that sole customer of the company was only TAI.
Yet how many system would Turkey buy? 10-20? It seems their business was not healthy from the beginning. Yet this shows us how idiotic was Canadian decision.

Gendarmerie UAV Commander Brigadier General Eyüp Subaşı:
“The Gendarmerie General Command has a request from the Defense Industry Presidency and is currently in the evaluation process. It is not clear who will be Akıncı or Aksungur. But we have such a request.”

Wouldn't long loitering time and cheaper maintainability of the Aksungur be a better fit for the Jandarma?

Surely the greek and the Armenians will compensate the country for such a loss, lool
This is what happens when you blindly follow those who are wrong, yet are hiding under the guise of human rights
Where are the Armenians when such a company closed? They couldnt be found

The same case was with Germany's MTU

Yes, I think Anka now needs to replace all the Telemus systems with domestic versions instead of telemus. This is going to be expensive to do quickly and not much of a reason to celebrate.

We cannot buy Telemus anyway, so another western company will probably buy them.

It is already done. Canadian embargo is nothing new. TAI has delivered a lot of Ankas after the Canadian embargo.

Yes, but how many ANKA-I delivered and are they with local subsystem?

Previously it was the Wescam being replaced domestically, but I don't know what was being supplied to say if we have replaced all of it for Anka
