Why not.Its making more money to turkey to offset all the r&d expenditure.Furthermore,with sales to europe will make it an easy sell to rest of the world

This is just giving EU one of the most successful turkish weapons for free. In the defence industry, money isnt always the final goal. The final goal of the defence industry is pure complete hegemony and autonomy; if any deal may seem unfair, then it shall be stopped period!


If they wanna ToT for TB2, then I expect domestic production of SAMP-T to be done and the German submarine deal to continue at full speed..... Period!

any kind of defence co-operation agreement should be made after EU agrees to the following:

• complete withdrawal of arms and arms-related equipment embargoes
• unconditional and total support of Turkiye's fight against domestic terrorist organisations.(no harboring those pesky PKK hevals, no EU support to the Syrian "Democratic" Forces)
• complete and seamless alignment of Turkish and EU international worldview(no 1915 blackmail bullşhit)
• genuine support for the Turkish effort of Syrian refugee relief(they took 4mil Ukrainian refugees so far, they should match those numbers with Syrians too.)

We got them by the balls, I suggest we squeeze some nut juice.

There seems to be a huge uncertainty in terms of Engine Supply from Ukraine to Turkey in order to be used in UAVs due to the ongoing war.
I came by a Flight by accident which could shed some light.

There seems to be a Antonov-12BK (20 Ton Payload) which has taken off from Uzhhorod in Ukraine.

This plane is operated by Motor-Sich Airlines

The Antonov-12 has landed in Istanbul Grande Airport and not Corlu Airport.
After that it flew to Burgas in Bulgaria and hasn't moved since then

There is another Anotonov-12 from Istanbul Grande which flew to Greece
Which seems interesting because there is no flight history from where it flew to Istanbul.
Perhaps it had its Transponder turned off.

Another Detail:
The Antonov-12 apparently turns it Transponder off before it reaches Ukrainian Airspace, above Slovakia.
The Airport is right at the border.

So what I am suggesting:

Zaporizhzhia Motor Sich Plant > Truck to Uzhhorod Airport > Antonov-12 to Istanbul
