You think so ? I would give at least 3 years for the engine.
I would give more than three years to the Aesa(an operational Aesa). Aselsan is in an uncharted territory whereas TEI has all the experience and the infrastructure on engines. TEI can accomplish the task without any dependency from abroad but I can't say the same about Aselsan. At least, not just yet. And I'd be very happy to be proven wrong.

+Add all those A-A equipped Akıncı/Aksungurs, Hisars and Sipers, E-7T, Koral, Hava SOJ and, and long range artillery/Cruise and Ballistic Missiles that will destroy their supply lines,

Game over Yunan
I think there is a problem in this kind of thinking. Let's say we were able to balance Rafale, F35, and F16V with our jets plus Mius etc. Each side have lost all their planes. Now within a week you will see 200 new planes probably together with some voluntary pilots on the Greece side. What will be on our side? That's why we always need a big cushion on our side. If greece has 200 planes we should have at least 300 planes of at least same quality to counteract against scenarios as above. This is so simple. But many people including so called defence experts dont understand this. We should buy even Typhoon tranche 1. Numbers are also important. Or we should produce Mius and Hürjet in 100s not 20 or 30.

The thing is we wont lose our arforce in this scenerio. We shouldnt buy typhoon T1, it would be at least F-16V level

Begs the question what did we get from Ukraine to make such investment.
Or is this as some comments already suggested in preparations for AKP losing.

A privat company which has had access to TSK and provided them with tech can’t just go build a factory in another country.

As Mr.Haluk said at the start, it is about partnership and best way to counter Russia is to support Ukraine, and this step has benefits of

1-Cheap labour and natural resources from Ukraine
2-More Turkey oriented Ukraine
3-Better airforce and ground strike for Ukraine
4-Engineers from Ukraine to work on Turkish projects
5-Countering Russian and other NATO influence after the war.

idk how you are against this step, and this is not even something new, it was planned before the war

We want to be in Ukraine preemptively and not let Ukraine invite NATO in their land. It would be a strategic move for Türkiye if Baykar set up shop in Ukraine and command a good chunk of the fighter drone market, possibly all of it.

Their deceased fathers were visiting soldiers in prison during the Ergenekon trials. I don't think they worry about AKP losing. Even hardcore AKP opponents are silent at worst. They have quite a support from defense analysts, most of whom are opposed to AKP. Also, still respectable retired Generals are backing them.

I said it before. The marriage of Selçuk is the best investment for Erdoğan, not for Bayraktars.

Unless HDP wins the election, I don't see they have a problem with AKP losing. Especially, SP in Nation Alliance will back them all the time.

exactly and used his power to really kick them up to place of untouchableness.

sidelined many turkish defense companies favorizing his groom.

now they’re doing what they can to ensure the safety by relocating the company abroad. Just like how Yildizlar relocated abroad to counter AKP witchhunt on domestic conglomerates.

These arguments make sense. I hope we will remain in good terms with Ukraine in the future ( we have to actually otherwise Russia will be spoiled) and get some more in return. The claim that we are doing this because AKP will lose, is weird. If the new government is that much traiterous, we have a problem much larger than Bayraktar!

Or maybe that they just want to secure their partnership with Ukraine, especially with the engines. Remember that without Ukrainians engines Kizilelma won’t fly.

I also think that Ukraine will order a large number of TB2s and Kizilelma’s in the future.

Kızılelma will be a game changer for their airforce, miles ahead than what they can buy (and operate)
