I don't think we should get too close to Taiwan except for chip business. Taiwan is a US-held country, we should not risk relations with China.

Which relation? The turkish minority they genocide? Or you mean the economic relation, $18 billion trade deficit? China is our direct rival.

Best Bayraktar Kızılelma 🇹🇷 video to date:

Those wrinkles on the bodywork must be because of the paint. At least that's what I'm guessing. If you've got any ideas I'd like to hear them.

It becomes more visible under certain lighting conditions. For instance look at the wing here. The texture looks wavy.

Although it was announced that this example is an actual flying prototype, it doesn't mean that it's complete.
I think there's still quite a bit of work to be done on it. Could be that they did some of the parts haphazardly just to make it to the show.

I mean she looks quite complete to me. The aircraft is essentially a single piece composite, you won't get to play around with it so much. What are you gonna do? Take a hammer and smash it against the fuselage? Unless you're referring to the "paint" argument of mine of course... Then yeah they can work on their application methods I guess.

Not sure but the paint work could look like that because of RAM material, it is not that Baykar can't make clean surface (just look at how smooth the surface of TB2 is)

Kızılelma is subsonic in this first iteration, surface imperfections should be tolerable.

No, not tolerable for any aircraft. (Except for Russian aircrafts! LOL)

I have no doubt they'll smooth its surface when KE's ready to fly.

On what basis are you saying this while parasitic drag is proportional to velocity cubed. You can even see shades on F35 wings. Seems like your gut feeling.

I think you are right, it's the paint. Here is a perfect video, 'up close and personal:
