1:1 scale, if so the design is final ?

Actually, Delta V doesn't make UCAVs. As you can see from the picture, they are making kamikaze drones. I got too excited. That's why my hands and feet got tangled. When you say "TISU" with a delta wing, this is what comes to mind.

DeltaV develops rocket engines, engine sub-technology, probe and launch systems, and test and launch infrastructures for these systems. Considering the corporate profile and area of expertise of the company, various guesses can be made as to what is meant by 'kamikaze'. It can be a system with high speed and strategic range.

Kamikaze drone systems developed in Turkiye and their swarm software will reveal a very impressive product range. In this area, an effective family structure is formed within short/medium and long range systems.

  • STM: Kargu, Alpagu family and new longer range kamikaze drones
  • Transvaro: Fedai 101/102 drones
  • Lentatek: Medium range and Kargi-Rf/EO long range kamikaze drones
  • TUSAŞ: Near supersonic and supersonic kamikaze/decoy drones Şimşek1/2, Goksungur
  • Titra: Deli (up to 40km)
  • DeltaV: Supersonic target/kamikaze drones

I think DeltaV company will only design and manufacture the paraffin-based hybrid rocket engine for the supersonic Göksungur kamikaze&target drone. IMO, DeltaV company will not go directly into the drone business.

We will have both a cheap target drone with which we can test our air defense systems and a supersonic (perhaps hyperpersonic) kamikaze drone! As far as I know, there is no drone in the world with this technology. It can be an effective solution.

In addition, IMO Simsek 2 decoy&EW drone but with a turbo jet engine will be produced. Because this decoy&EW task requires something that stays in the air for a long time, even if it is expensive.

I have confirmed that TAI has done the delta wing UCAV test, regardless of the friends who wrote this. There are witnesses who witnessed the test. The UCAV is said to have been tested on a scale model.
If TAI really tested a delta-wing drone, then that drone ought to be a bomber drone; i-e, something like the B2 bt on a smaller scale

If TAI didnt do that, thrn I will be disappointed

Temel Kotil, General Manager of Turkish Aerospace Industries, delivered a speech entitled "Aviation and Space Industry" on the last day of the "Summit Kartal - Entrepreneurship and Innovation Summit". Two headlines are of remarkable importance in the speech.

"More than today's of developments to date lie before us. For example, imagine that you have tamed Hydrogen, that is, you have built a hydrogen reactor for mobile systems. This is currently being worked on, especially the Germans spend a lot of money. If you tame the hydrogen and put it in an airplane, you can increase the flight distances extraordinarily that you can even go to Mars, with the energy that does not end easily. Your generation will see it, but be the doer, not the watcher. Don't be dazzled by today's success. We are making great progress in the defense industry and we have success, but do not be dazzled. There is more and it will come. There is so much more. Turkey is making a revolution in the defense industry, but you (youth) need to make the second revolution."

Now, how is Turkey making a revolution? Turkey is making its own autonomous UAV. As Bayraktar and TUSAŞ, we are building TB, Akıncı, Kızılelma, Aksungur, Anka and -we will have another new aircraft here- UAVs. This is really important. The drone is waiting above, guarding our borders when the enemy comes. We are making the National Combatant, the fifth generation fighter jet. The Americans have two planes F22, F35. The Russians have Su-57 aircraft. There is also the Chinese J-20 aircraft. And the Turks have Turkish warplane, the National Combatant Aircraft. These are the fifth generation fighter jets."

The biggest thing I've learned in the defense industry is that if it's about the defense of the country, you can't depend on anyone. When we need to buy something, foreigners from abroad are so wayward that there are problems even in the systems we pay for. For example, the problem with Germany was very interesting: Gökbey's gearbox was to be made. We went, we came, it's not done. When we did better gearbox ourselves, the Germans sent it immediately. Thank God, Turkey's defense industry is self-sufficient at the moment. But you have to put it above where you take it. This country needs you. Turkiye is doing very well, but that shouldn't put you at ease. Because there is something bigger than this," he concluded.

It is time to add one more item to 2023 expectations. There is still no official announcement about the project, but almost all authorities have somehow approved it.
