Wasn't PD222 to be used on TB3? Why they chose for PD170?

PD-222 is a modified PD-170. Even though I don't expect them to be line replaceable a platform that flies with one of them can easily be certified to fly with the other. PD-170 delivered Baykar so that engine integration of TB3 can move according to schedule.

The total take-off weight of Bayraktar TB-2 is estimated to be 600-800 kg. The PD-170 is produced for UAVs with a take-off weight of 2 tons or more. It's up to you to imagine the total take-off weight of Bayraktar TB-3.

Different antenna placements can be seen in the green circles. In the red circle, modified and enlarged air intakes can be seen.
