With 7-8 hours of flight endurance and 200 + km of cruise speed (like most of its equivalents), the maximum range of kargı is much more (1400-1600 km) as @TheInsider underlined. With satcom and datalink ability, If you prefer to plan 3 hours of loitering, which is a quite good duration the effective range is somewhere between 800 - 1000 km.

The Turkish Minister of Defense and the Chief of Staff of the Turkish Army inspect the Turkish-made "Kizil Alma" jet warplane, at the headquarters of the manufacturer, "Baykar".

Yes, this is correct. Maximum diving speed, average cruise speed, and loitering speed are different though. When loitering it can reduce/throttle down its speed considerably.

For those who think that Turkish drones (or any other platform made in any other country) are bad because they can be hit, I can't find a word to describe their stupidness. I strongly advise them to concentrate on leisure activities that require less intelligence for the rest of their lives.

By the way the number of killed tb2s in Libya are really not reliable. In each war number of casualities are not more than childish official lies, but Libya was a true unique case. The level of lying was unbelievable for both sides.

This is a big news and in my opinion it shouldn't be shared . but this raise two questions :

1- Is the enemy a training enemy or the Russian AD systems in Syria or maybe Ukraine ? is it possible that they did this on Greek AD radars ?

2- Is it Tb-2 with the mini EW pod ?
Or the EHTES test center!

If the TSK Command likes the characteristics of the Red Apple, maybe we will stop buying the F 16, what do you think?

Baykar CTO Mr. Selcuk is giving an interview.

Anyone able to summarise the main points
Selçuk Bayraktar: Turkish armed forces buy the systems they will use at 1/5 the price of equivalent systems in the world. In fact, it is acquiring some systems that you cannot buy even if you have money.

In response to a question about the cost of KE: When the integration of the systems that will bring the KE to the level of air supremacy against fifth generation jets is completed, the project will have a development cost exceeding billions of dollars. The project is being carried out with 20 years of company experience and Baykar's own resources.

In response to the question about tactical blocks: The project was blocked for 4-5 years. In 2009, they tried to arrest Haluk Bayraktar during a flight demo. The project dragged on for 3-4 years. In 2012, the project was revived again and TB-2 developed. (baykar was the target of fierce criticism in defense circles when it claimed that they were the first domestic armed UAV manufacturer)

A program hosted by Candaş naturally started to progress with shitty questions. Like, why Aselsan resources are being transferred to Baykar, or I would have founded a bigger company if the state favors provided to Baykar were provided to me, etc... Instead of 'goygoy', there is no journalist around who can ask Selçuk Bayraktar, the questions we are curious about, properly.
