The KAAN hasnt flown yet and if it would be ready,TAF first,which would mean before 2035/6/7 we cant think of selling.
Guessing you're talking about the ATAK 2,that project is on hold,not that important currently.
All other projects you mentioned are doing fine.

Not to mention Hürjet and Anka-3 hasn't entered serial production yet and Gökbey is still going through testing and has only made 1 delivery yet.

Showing up at 1000 fairs couldn't have done that. TUSAS has no such videos therefore their foreign sales suck.

Also they are lazy. Production rate target of 500 TB2s a year is not something TUSAS or ASELSAN people will ever want to emulate. That would just mean more work. That is the beauty of a truly private company. You HAVE TO hire the most productive people or you won't make more money. Kotil has no skin in the game. He is content with making 2 helicopters or planes a month. No more.

What real motivation workers, bosses at TUSAS or ASELSAN have to produce 20 times more by engaging with other 150+ nations effectively? 12 drones a year will get them off the hook with government and keep them employed until they retire. Pushing workers, resources to produce 500 drones a year, wouldn't earn Kotil anything but a revolt, firing because of subordinate complaints to politicians or a strike. Yeah TB2 benefited from timing immensely and the fact its a cheap weapon that isn't a big risk for nations to purchase. The TB2 package is so cheap and the increased capacity it gives a military is really a no brainer. Honestly i would expect it to sell more. But Turkish weapon manufactures must be aware that due to our geography we are going to be engaging in a conflict I suspect at least once every 5 years maybe for the next 50 years. Just like idlib opened the door for Turkish drones especially TB2, each new conflict should be an advertising platform that most nations on earth cannot emulate.

In the last 5 years we have seen Turkish platforms utilised in syria, iraq, azerbaijan, ukraine, libya and else where.

If I'm a weapons manufacturer in Turkey I'm looking at the geopolitics and predicting where the next intervention is going to come and doing my best to time my platforms to be showcased in it.

And whichever Turkish company platform gains a positive reputation elevates the image of Turkish weapons in general. The drone warfare that was displayed in idlib over what was it 4 days? Raised the image of Turkey globally in terms of power and domestic capability. Its only really grown since then. You can even see people trying to ridicule the 5th gen fighter really more so out of envy and insecurity that someone else may overtake them.

Its really the one consistent positive of Turkey is her domestic military capacities keep growing.

And what Türkiye is not capitalist? Even China is capitalist. You can't hide behind socialism or communism anymore to cover up institutionalized governmental inefficiency, poor work ethics due to unmonitored personal performance or overall low output, sales and profits. Aselsan is bragging about having 10 billion dollars backlog due to slow production rates.
STM is bragging about making only 3000 quadcopters for all these years.
TUSAS doesn't even flinch when they lose a $1.5 billion already signed contract.
I have no knowledge of bonus systems of Aselsan or TUSAS, but I would be baffled if they had performance based wages like most fortune 500 companies and yet they churn out these low production rates that are barely enough for Türkiye let alone other potential global buyers from 100+ nations. They go to fairs and they come back. That is the whole marketing strategy.

Türkiye has only %1 of around half trillion dollars a year global weapons exports market. What other number do you need to figure out this is not some big success?

You should listen to T. Kotil about „employees motivation“. He’s really clear about that. What’s your point here? TAI employees are lazy? Don’t mass produce 100000 Atak or Aksungur per day? Their export numbers are to low?

Btw, compare both portfolios, Baykar and TUSAS has. How many projects has both companies?
