I have been thinking about a concept that goes like this;

Modern warships have this problem where when you pack them full of missiles, they become precious targets and they have to go back to a dock. These two problems can be overcome, I believe, with extensive use of USVs. Of course, this is not really an option in deep ocean, but neither Mediterranean nor the Red Sea qualifies as oceans, do they.

So UAVs out of Anadolu do ISR and EW, while slightly larger USVs act as mobile VLS carriers and nothing else. Some other USVs act like land based anti air batteries, in a layered fashion. While others do ASW. Maybe even dedicated USVs for EW, too. There may even be USVs that can be used for cheap shore bombardment en masse, striking closer land targets acquired by UAVs. In essence, this allows command & control of a large and dispersed force from one command center. You acquire, classify and nuetralize targets. This is what TSK did in operation Spring Shield, adapted to naval warfare.

In the future, a VTOL capable long endurance UAV with similar specs to TB3 will allow ships without runways to fulfill this role in the future, too. You disperse command and control to 3-5 frigates in that way therefore mitigating risk.

This is more or less useless against a competent air force. Then you need 5th gen aircraft taking off from carriers. But when the enemy is an "eastern style" force, like Haftar's militia, Hezbollah or SAA, this might actually work.

Baykar has made a large-scale aerodynamic refinement (and a bonus of less RCS thanks to concealed actuators). I think the lift from fuselage will see an improve with the new form as well. Every inch of lift will be needed for STOBAR operation.

Great!
I think there are some important questions to consider:
- How strong is this material as an airframe?
- How durable in certain weather conditions, altitudes, and air pressure?
- How mouldable and shapable is it compared to carbon fibre?
- How long does it take to produce this material and at what rate?
- How durable to storage conditions is it (just because it withstands extreme heat, doesn't mean it won't have weak points e.g. rot, fatigue, instability etc.)

Oh, mon Dieu! LOL

Jokes aside, IMO reporting this invention is a mistake. We are giving unnecessary ideas to others.

Lol, do you think nobody thought of something like that before? Or did they revealed the formula?

I belive such studies are vital at univeristy level whether it is applicable in real life or not and worth every lira we have spent ... we are an emotional nation therefore over enthusiasm in expressions can be unavoidable sometimes dont know.

....most importatnly such studies creates a science culture .... and steping stones for future projects and creates pool of potantial scientists for our future projects...

Yes, not every single research has useful output at the end of the day, but that's not the point, you gotta build a body of research, and you never know when something may end up being useful, if this isn't applicable for UAV, it may find an entirely other industrial use

If you like the government, TAI is seen as susceptible to political change. Baykar is much more durable in that regard.

If you don't like the government, Baykar is susceptible to political change, and TAI is better in that regard.

Diversification seems good in both situations, only negative is resource management but Baykar doesn't even use state funds so that's a non-issue.
Sales of baykars products to our army with unknown prices works like a state funds, but ended much better than the Altay case.

Baykar makes little to none profit on sales made to Turkish Army (or institutes of TR).

It has certain limitations to he practical though, we are speaking of a coating to be applied on aircrafts or small drones.

It has to have a low density - ✓
It has to be usable for thin-film applications NA
It has to demonstrate those capabilities below a certain thickness NA
It has to provide an insulation and not conduct the contained heat to the inner fuselage NA

I am excluding mechanical properties so far.
