Ankara Prosecutor General's office: as part of the investigations carried out in coordination with the MIT presidency to decipher the organization of the armed terrorist organization FETO/PDY in the field of defense industry, it was decided that 26 suspects who worked in the field of defence industry (TUSAŞ, ASELSAN, HAVELSAN, ROKETSAN, TUBITAK and the Defense Industry presidency) who had previously been dismissed were detained in 5 provinces based in Ankara. 30.03.2021

15 defendants, a former employee of Aselsan, who was tried for being a member of a Fetullahist Terrorist Organization, were sentenced to prison terms ranging from 2.5 years to 8 years, 5 months and 7 days.

Very good, everyone. Keep burying your head like an ostrich.

2 times in the Anka project, the UAV was redesigned. It was said that there is a balance problem, etc. Anyone who follows the process closely and doesn't bury their head in the sand like an ostrich knows the project has been sabotaged.

RfP is issued for small VTOL UAV.
It is required to have 2 hours operation, 1 km service ceiling, 15 km range. The size requirement is not disclosed in RfP.
In this kind of selections SSB should consider the merits of each contender regardless of whether they can provide financial credibility and allow one of its companies to partner with the IP holder to build the perfect product for the end user. Otherwise a bad design with perfect company credentials can win and make a bad product for the military while perfects designs rust in warehouses. They should appreciate a value for each input in the product like the design IP and values of components and possibly buy the IP to make the product itself. There are bad designs getting heaps of support all over the place, around the world.

There are so many producers that meet and exceed the specs in the RFP, I'm hoping that a small and passionate company hits it big with this RFP.
I hope this is not intended for solely the Aselsan design that was circulating lately, that would be a shame.

I believe we are looking at back-pack portable VTOL UAV, with the relevant minimum requirements published by SSB.
Two hours operation is way too much for a backpack model. It will depend on payload capacity requirement but electric civilian drones can fly for around 40min with light payload (?)

A hybrid drone with electric vertical propellers and gas horizontal propeller like the Aselsan one fits the bill very well.

As an example Baykars fully electric mini-Iha D has 2hrs of endurance, a fully electric VTOL UAV with conventional flight shouldn't have an issue. Plus, who's going to provide maintenance for the gas engine - fully electric is the better solution in this case.

Tender opened for the needs of Land Forces Command
I know only two platforms meeting the requirements partially, and none of them satisfies all:
Baykar Malazgirt, coming short in endurance,
Aselsan Arı-1T, coming short in operational altitude*

*I don't know if they indicate operational or maximum altitude in the RfP

Reading RfP i have got these:
the company may enter the tender despite of not having a ready-to fly platform and if the company has a platform meeting the requirements and either exported-delivered before, or they can do a demonstration flight , they will be only exempted from the payment for receiving RfP.
