The war against Ukraine has set back the ability of the aggressor country, Russia, to modernize its land forces by 15 years\

Russia’s military-industrial complex has the capacity to manufacture and refurbish approximately 100-150 main battle tanks per month, significantly outpacing Europe, State Secretary at the Latvian Defense Ministry, Janis Garisons, said on Dec. 13, as reported by Delfi.
Garisons asserts that Russia can produce or repair around 100-150 tanks in a month, which is far more than Europe can achieve. He noted that "if you look at history, it's clear that the side that can ensure greater efficiency of military equipment and arms prevails." He added that logistics, speed, and reliability of supplies are also crucial.

"We can increase the number of soldiers, but we also need weapons, tanks, and other things that so far no one can produce in sufficient quantities to meet current needs," the official said.

USA passed an astronomical $886 Billion usd defense budget for 2024. In that bill there is an additional $800 million usd for aid to Ukraine. Note that this has nothing to do with the $61 Billion usd worth of aid they are trying to pass, but for those counting, USA still has $4.6 Billion usd worth of Presidential Drawdown Authority that they can send Ukraine, as well as this fresh $800 million, which will largely be used for training initiatives for Ukrainian troops. In total, USA currently has access to $5.2 Billion usd worth of aid for Ukraine, prior to the next bill being passed.

Finland will more than double its production of artillery shells in 2024 and beyond. The Finnish Government signed a 3 year 120 million Euro deal for the production of additional artillery shells. The target number was not disclosed.

Why is this notable? Finland contains the most artillery of any country in "Western" Europe. It also produces artillery shells and rockets in both NATO 155mm and Soviet / Russian 152mm / 122mm caliber. This is, of course, important because Ukraine needs as many artillery shells as it can get, but more than anything thry need increased inflows of Soviet caliber artillery shells, the caliber of which only countries such as Finland, Poland and Bulgaria are still producing in any meaningful quantities.

I wish Luftwaffe would donate all Tornados and aviation bombs/missiles to Ukraine. Even some of EF T1s could be transferred.

Generally your idealism is only as good as the practical steps you take to bring it into reality. While having a vision or set of ideals is essential, the true measure of their impact lies in their implementation. It's easy to articulate lofty goals, but the challenge lies in translating them into tangible actions that yield positive outcomes.
