They expect us to kiss their asses while seeing us as inferiors.

They had their asses kissed by eurocentrist Turks tho for a long time and we all know how cringe these eurocentrists are. Now imagine that these Turks also used to run the gov´s in Turkey.

To be honest in case of a hypothetic Russian invasion of Ukraine I would bet China would take advantage of the situation to invade Taiwan, although both situations are kind of different, the US would most likely fail to manage two fronts.

Russian cities prepare for mass burials as Kremlin amasses troops on Ukrainian borders

Regulations "On the organization of urgent burial of bodies in wartime" began appearing on websites in several Russian cities, underscoring the possibility that Russia is preparing for a large-scale invasion of Ukraine.

Russian city councils were instructed to prepare burial sites for those killed during the military campaign.

Among these cities is Cherepovets, where the authorities have begun preparing a local cemetery.

The municipality's statement explains which local agency, in case of war, will work with the Interior Ministry to maintain the storage for the bodies, identification and documentation of the dead.

Similar regulations have previously been adopted in Chekhov, Yekaterinburg and Sakhalin.

The Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Ruslan Khomchak, during his speech in the Parliament, reported that Russia is amassing troops along Ukrainian borders.

The Ukrainian Defense Ministry's Intelligence Directorate said that Russia is ready for large-scale provocations, in particular, to attack deep into the territory of Ukraine.

Last week, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the U.S. Army, General Mark Milley, General Mark Milley, held talks with Valery Gerasimov, Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces.

"We have made it clear that we see threats from Russia and take them very, very seriously," Pentagon spokesman John Kirby later said.

He added that Washington would like Moscow to be "more open" about the troop movements. "While we have learned from the bitter experience to not take at face value the Russians' statements about their intentions," Kirby said.

NATO troops in the next few months will hold exercises in Ukraine, the scenario of which will be "to repel a large-scale offensive of the armed forces of the hypothetical aggressor country," the Ukrainian General Staff said.

"The defensive actions will transition to subsequent offensive to restore the state border and territorial integrity amid the aggression by the neighboring state," the Ukrainian General Staff said.

If that happens, than Turkey would be stupid if they dont invade the YPG-zones in North Syria. Perfect timing.

I'd be the first guy to support this plan but bear in mind that the entire Western world would see it as an unprecedented act of betrayal by a NATO member state. I doubt that the AKP government could handle the political fallout given our current state of affairs.

Zelensky explained why Russia needs an army at the border

Ukrainian intelligence believes that Russian troops may try to move deeper into the territory of Ukraine.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy believes that the increase in Russian troops on the Ukrainian border is an attempt by the Russian Federation to intimidate the West. In his opinion, Russia is not planning a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. On Monday, April 12, the president said this in an interview with TIME.

According to Zelenskiy, if Russia really had the intention of invading, its troops "could try a little more", as they did during the invasion of Ukraine in 2014, to maintain some element of surprise. "

"The Russians did the opposite. They spread footage of their military accumulation on social networks. They sent warships to threaten Ukraine from the sea, and have gathered tens of thousands of troops on the border - more than since the annexation of Crimea by Russia seven years ago," Zelenskiy said.

He added that Russia had warned the United States that support for Ukraine could turn into a wider war.

“We do not claim that there will be a real escalation. Perhaps it’s just in no one’s interests,” the President of Ukraine added.

G7 made a statement on pulling together Russian troops

The G7 called on the Russian Federation to stop provocations against Ukraine
The G7 countries call on Russia to stop provocations and immediately reduce tensions, in accordance with international obligations.
The foreign ministers of the G7 countries, as well as the head of European diplomacy, Josep Borrell, issued a joint statement on Monday, April 12, in which they called on Russia to stop "provocations" near the border with Ukraine.

"These large-scale military movements, carried out without prior notification, pose a threat and destabilize the situation. We call on Russia to stop provocations and immediately reduce tensions, in accordance with international obligations," said the G7 statement issued by the UK chairing the group.

The document also notes that the G7 and the EU are "very concerned about the large-scale increase in Russian forces" near the borders with Ukraine and in Crimea.

The G7 countries said they express support for Ukraine's "restraint approach."

They reiterated that they support the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, as well as the efforts of France and Germany to work in the "Normandy format" to achieve the implementation of the Minsk agreements.

Why? We give the most active support to Ukraine. Our dispute with US about the fate of YPG isnt unheard of. It may just be a ''coincidence'' that we chose that time to go for an operation.

They are the ones feeding a terrorist organisation in our backyard. If they feel betrayed, they can go to hell. These dipshits send metro engineers to Pkk.

A quote from another forum I am a member in which sounds pretty reasonable.

“According to Slovak analyst Alexander Duleba, who was right in predicting every Russian move in 2014-2015, if Putin decides to attack Ukraine, it targets rather small area around currently occupied Donbas and Crimea. Russian problem with Donbas and Luhansk republics and Crimea are money and water. Russia is donating 5 billions USD to Crimea, and 2 billions USD to each republics. Its almost 10 billions yearly. In Crimea, Russian occupation administration is not able to provide one of basic necessities - water, the Crimea is back in 1960s, when it was still dry steppe.

So, Russians will occupy these towns and surrounding areas (if they decide to attack):
Mariupol - maritime trade hub for Donbas
Andiivka - there is an Coke plant needed for metallurgy factories in occupied Donbas
Lysychans'k - there is Refinery which was owned by Rosneft and was nationalized.
Area around Crimea canal to provide water to Crimea.

These limited moves will improve economy of Russia occupied part of Donbas and solve Crimea water crises.”

Bro Mariupol and Lsyschansk aren't small area as he said. If Putin invaded those regions, it would be a big loss for Ukraine. Having said that i think RF will invade neither a small area nor all country. As i said and other media sources noticed Putin shows off , moving tanks in day light. To be honest in order to occupy Ukraine, they don't need to move tanks from siberia to Ukraine . They had already had enough tank battalions next to Ukranian border before this Military training.
If he went mad and made wrong move , the USA would destroy Russian economy.

Edit:

Possible russian invasion won't be with tanks. This time they will have to use Air force, since Ukraine have had javelins and more prepared than 2014.
So moving tanks which will be absolute is flexing muscles.

Here my 5 cents.

When Putin invaded Georgia in August 2008, Crimea in February 2014, Donbass in August 2014, each time he used covert force concentration and surprise factor.

This time he deliberately shows his forces all over. So i think this time intention is to push US and Europe to negotiate with him, make some concessions.
Biden just called Putin and invited to talks.

Putin's bluff was successful. Now the only question what he will get.
